NaNoWriMo challenge : sixth day

One more writing day which didn't look like the one before. This afternoon I went out to meet people, I had only written about 500 words before going and I really didn't know if I would be able to get to my minimum of 2500 words as usual. That was still fun do be able to talk about my novel to other people than my fellow NaNoWriMo writer.
I finally got 2482 words today but as I'm not going to sleep yet I'll probably have a bit more soon.
The total word count add up to 17018 words.

NaNoWriMo challenge : fifth day

Again a very great day writing. I feel like the more I write, the more I want to write and the easier it becomes.
Today I tried something new, virtual write-in. I already went to a write it last Monday in a café with other people from my region. Basically we talked and then we gave ourselves some time for intensive writing. I did that today with a friend in America with whom I was talking on the chat box.
That worked wonder, for her and for me. I really hope to be able to do it more often. It's good to have people to talk to as well when you start wondering about your story.

So the stats of the day : 3364 words written which add up to 14536 words in total
That's my best day ever so far.

NaNoWriMo challenge : fourth day

Today was pretty easy, probably because I finally reached a part of the story that I had already imagined in my head several time.
I even have an illustration for the main part.

Stats of the day : 2561 words written which add up to a total of 11172 words.
That's more than one fifth of it and I'm very happy.

NaNoWriMo challenge : third day

So this is the third day of the NaNoWriMo challenge and lots of things happened.
First I got stuck at 6815 words very badly so I really thought that reaching the 7500 words I was supposed to reach on the third day, not even talking about keeping the 400 and so words advance, was mainly out of reach.
I went to talk to people and ate something and then made it painfully to 7165 words.
And then I get stuck badly again, but Brownie (everybody knows her by now) was taking a shower, so I decided to get one too, crazy idea, anyway, after it I get to 8186 words without effort.
Completely worth it. Hopefully she wasn't doing something too crazy though.
Also I couldn't resist to let my vampires enter the story, I hope you'll like them.

So here are the stats of the day 3152 words (my best day so far, who would have thought)
Which bring us to a total of 8611 words. Tonight, I'm really happy. Don't hesitate to leave comments.

NaNoWriMo challenge : second day

This is the second day of my NaNoWrimo challenge. Today I had the surprise to find out that a NaNoWriMo meeting was being hold in Belfast tonight and I went to it.
It was pretty good, we wrote more, exchanged ideas, talk about our stories and met with people who already participate or even won NaNoWriMo several times.
I had a lot of fun.

So were am I in the challenge today ?
2742 words more written which had up to a total of 5459 word in two days. That's a bit more than planed and I hope to keep it that way all along.

And of course here is what everybody has been waiting for, what happens next in the story.

NaNoWriMo challenge : First day

This is the first part of the Novel I'm writing for the NaNoWriMo challenge.
Don't forget that this is a first draft so it hasn't been edited and may content some grammar and spelling mistakes. Remember also that it's my first participation to NaNoWriMo and my first time writing a full novel so be nice.

To get my challenge completed I will need to write at least 2500 words a day until the 20th of November.

Today I wrote 2717 words in almost 3 hours, I think. So the challenge of the day is won.
I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

NaNoWriMo Challenge

This November, I'm officially participating to NaNoWriMo or National Novel Writing Month. The goal of this is to write at least 50000 words of a Novel starting on November the 1st until November 31 midnight.
Once you have your 50000 words, and that they are counted you are officially a NaNoWrimo winner.
For more information see the official web site http://www.nanowrimo.org/
Don't hesitate to join, it's free and you won't loose anything by trying, at the contrary.

That is going to be even more challenging for me as I will need to complete the task before the 21st of November.
So everyday in November I will upload for you my word count of the day, my total word count, the number of hours writing (if I can keep track of it, I'm not very good at that) and of course the part of the story written so that you can follow the story while I write it.
Don't except anything big, this is my first time ever participating to this challenge and I have never written a complete story before. I will just try to do my best and keep you entertained during November.
