Welcome to my crazy world!
Today, I had a lot of little helper to help me opening Dino's box.
Dino is another Cu-poche friend. The last release of the kind and he is a boy in the middle of all my girls. He came out sometimes in the middle of the month but I had to wait for my nendoroid Ram to come out to for amiami to send them to me together as I had a group order.
I'm happy to have him finally home.
I was a bit surprised when I opened the box because he comes with extra part of hands which is the coolest thing ever. I really hope I'll be able to get some of the sets a the other cu-phoe friends Cherry and Anne.
What I like with the Cu-poche, is that they are tiny but still super posable.
I hope you'll enjoy the little stop motion, it has been a while.
So I wanted to so this for a while. Actually when I started to get interested about Nendoroid and Cu-poche, I always wondered what is the difference exactly.
I know that's a noob question but hey we all have to start somewhere and curiously I didn't really find anything satisfying answer except that the Cu-poche are taller and can wear fabric clothes sometimes and that Nendoroid have extra body parts.
So now that I have both some Nendoroids and some Cu-poche, I decided that I was going to take two of them and have a comparison just in case someone is looking for answers somewhere, also because comparing stuff is a lot of fun.
So here is a little comparison of one of my nendoroid with one of my Cu-poche. Enjoy!
Today, I'm opening my last Cu-poche doll for now. This is the limited Crimson Alice version.
Basically, this new Alice is the same as the previous Alice, except for the dress, shoes and bow.
This Alice is not yet out for sale world wide and I managed to get her at the last AK-garden in Asakusa. I actually went to that event especially to get this Alice. I thought that it was sort of too late for me to get the original version for a decent price so I was going to get this one instead but ended up with both of them.
I think they are super cute and they look really great together too.
Compare to the original Cu-poche friends: Anne, Belle and Cherry, Alice comes with a lot more clothes and accessory which make her really special. Both her feet and shoes are wearing the magnet enabling her stay, bare feet or with shoes on her magnetised doll stand.
She has a nice range of motion and has no problem to stand even boxing on her magnetic stand.
I was really interested in her when she came out but took a long time to finally get her until it was almost too late. Now I can see that she is back out for a decent price so I guess that's the right moment to grab her.
This little Alice is a special Cu-poche friend because she comes with a complete outfit. As you might have seen in my previous video, Belle didn't have shoes. Alice's box is bigger, she has several pieces of clothing, two hair accessory and really looks like an Alice in wonderland doll.
I got little Belle here at AK-garden, you might have seen the vlog of it. I actually wanted Belle, Anne and Cherry for a while but I didn't get them and I decided to grab the limited Alice at AK-garden but ended up with the two versions of Alice and little Belle here.
Belle is the one with the blue hair and I find it really funny now that I think of it because all the nendoroid I opened so far also have blue hair.
The Cu-poche are tiny no-scale figure but I would say sort of 1/12is hybrids with big heads compared to their body. They are a bit taller than the nendoroids and have articulated body as well as wearing fabric clothes. They are also way smalled than the lil'fairies.
I think they are super cute.
