Welcome to my crazy world!
Yesterday was my first idoll as a seller! I tried to go to two events before, once in March and then in May but they were both canceled because of COVID. This time, I managed to get a booth for the first day of the Tokyo idoll.
Because of COVID, there were some heavy restrictions. The row of tables were very far apart so that there were a lot less rows than usual. We also needed some distancing between the booth instead of having them next to each other, which means that there were a lot less sellers per row.
It was a very strange idoll. Unfortunately, a lot of sellers weren't there and a lot of booths were empty. There weren't many customers either. I had the time to go around the entire festival which I wouldn't have had if it had been a normal day. As you will see, when before I had enough pictures for 2 sometimes even 3 videos, this time I barely had enough for this one video.
After idoll, on the way back home, we stopped in Akihabara for sushi so I took the opportunity to go to the Azone store. They didn't have any expo but they had a lot of new display. They changed the organisation of the store again.
Here is the vlog of the day.
And here are some pictures of my booth at the event.
Today, I have for you a review of my Mir D'Artagnan bjd from Luts. I was supposed to make his review some times ago, just after the idoll event where I bought him but I decided I wanted to wait to have some clothes for him before doing the review. However, since I haven't been sewing as much as I intended too, the poor little cutie is still partially naked and the review way over due so I decide to compromise so here is the review.
I got this little cutie at the last idoll (you can check the first video here and the second video here.)
I got him naked as someone already bought his outfit before I made my decision to take him home. He is a Mir D'artagnan limited version you can check him out of the luts website and he is a dragon. I think that he is super adorable.
He comes with magnetic horns and wings that you can move and remove as you please.
Today I have for you a review of a different type of doll. This little
one is a Coroporo doll. She is an ooak from a Japanese artist and I got
her at the last idoll as you might remember. It was quite a while ago
though.
Today I have a special doll because she is not mine. She is my friends
doll that I got for her at the last idoll last month.
The plan was to
get the review done with the other dolls that I bought then but I
accientally erase part of the video. That annoyed me a lot so
procrastinated on recording it again (as well as the videos of the
lil'fairies and Ariel, very bad me.)
Anyway, this is Momo from Iroadoll, a Korean company. They are pretty
hard to get and get really expensive on the second hand/resell market so
it's way better to get them directly from the companies at event.
She is quite cute and comes with a hat, dress, underwear, socks, shoes.
She has five basic points of articulation, so a lot less than the doll I
generally present here.
