NaNoWriMo challenge : day 14

Again a great day writing, I'm happy because I reached a new part of the story today.
And Sahel is now a very healthy little demon. That's going to be fun.
I also passed the 40000 words and the story is still going on nicely. It's even far from being finished.
I really like my dreams too at the moment, I have been spending so much time on this story during the last 14 days that I'm dreaming about it now and gets more idea to link the different parts.
I hope you still have fun reading it, as much as I have righting it. Don't hesitate leaving comments, I would really like to have something to read too.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 13

I started to write a very long time ago, when I was just a child actually I was writing stories during the breaks at school. I don't think I ever finished any of those stories. I think the main problem I add was that I was just writing. I was making my characters evolute in their world without knowing where they were going.
Obviously they got lost and I got lost as well. And the story got lost.
I even wrote a very long one, and don't think I even finished the beginning of it.
I just liked writing. But this time, I have a plan, I know where I'm going, I know the end of the story and that makes it a lot easier to write. I think that's the main reason why I'm doing so well so far.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 12

Today, I had no problem to write, I just sad at the computer and wrote my 2500 words.
I know I should be further in the story and that lots of the things I'm writing now where not in the original plan but I think they are bringing an other dimension to the story. Especially because I'm letting you know more things about my characters and you will maybe end up knowing them as well as do. Maybe not yet though, I still have a lot to tell you.
And who care if the story is twice longer than I planed initially. More words = more fun, right?
Thinking about it when I concentrate on my creation, I write about 500 words in half an hour.
During that half hour, you have the typing and the creation of sentence and the little breaks during which you fine the following ideas. That a really interesting process. Also 30 mins is a very good length to be able to concentrate. Then you can take a 5 min breaks or continue and add more. I really like it.
I also enjoy a lot writing very detailed descriptions about what my characters are doing day by day and talking about their pasts. For me their pasts and memories show exactly their current behavior, like in real life.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 11

Here is the 11th part of the story, Sahel is getting all this powers and growing up really fast. Gideon is taking care of the dark shadow, but something is telling me that it won't let us rest and bring more problems to solve.

Today was a pretty good writing day two, in two steps. I was doing from virtual write-in sessions with my friend before going to bed in the very early morning which kept me awake until 3am and added about 1500 words to the story.
Of course when I wake up today there was no way for me to write less than my 2500 words even if I had 1500 already. So today I beat up my daily record again.
In a sense reaching the 25000 words free me a bit. Now I know I'm very close to the end and that I will probably achieve it without to much problem. My main preoccupation now is to write enough to finish the story. But the end will take care of itself as long as I keep on writing.

Stats of the day 4019 words written which add up to 33168 words in total. But I'm not sleepy yet and lots of things will happen again before I go to bed.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 10

Today was a great writing day, well especially after 6pm. I don't know why, before in the afternoon I was really slow at writing. Maybe because i have been thinking a lot about part of the story that will happened later.
You see I first I started to draw the part of the story, mostly to avoid writing them before the first of November but also to see if I could imagine the end of the story. I often started to write stories without finishing them.
This time as so many people would be able to read it i really want a good ending and you will have one. I'm not sure that I will reach it after finishing the 50000 words but I'm sure than I won't stop writing this story before the end. I think my characters really deserve it and writing through all of those words made me really attached to them and to the story. Once again I hope you will enjoy reading this part as much as I enjoyed writing it.

NaNoWriMo challenge : ninth day

Today, was mad, mad, mad. I couldn't get up in the morning because the story had been turning in my head all night. I went to the lab pretty late to finish my thesis corrections and run back home to arrive at 4.30 without having written a word of the story.
I spend 1 hour writing 943 words before going to the write-in and there a miracle happened I wrote 1924 words there. So I have even more than my daily goal.

Today stats : 2867 words written which add up to 25509 words in total.
I feel happy and relieved because I have more than half done before than expected.

NaNoWriMo challenge : eighth day

I feel a bit bad for Sahel.
Why does he always have to get sick to get anything in life ?
Demon life is very difficult you see. But don't worry to much for him, he is in good hands and he will become a very strong and healthy demon.
Strangely he is getting his powers over air first. I wasn't prepared for that. Really I was only prepared for the fire and water elements, I needed to do some more research today to make sure to write something at least half sensible.

Stats of the day, 2529 words written which add up to 22641 words in total.
Normally, I would be half way in words for the NaNoWriMo challenge tomorrow.
