NaNoWriMo challenge : day 18

This is the first part with a word count above the 50000 words limit.
I didn't make it less at all. I want to keep going for ever until the story in finished.
I really like this part because it involves my vampires a bit more. I find them really cool. I knew Viorel was cool but I didn't know how cool Dylan and Daciana were.
I'm glad I wrote this part of the story with them.
Sahel is also getting so big, he is not a baby anymore, I hope he will continue to evolve in a good way despite nasty things around him, such as the dark shadow.
I'm also wondering if he will be strong even to get his last power.
We will see in the near future I hope.

NaNoWriMo challenge : day 17

When I started to think about NaNoWriMo two months and a half ago, I was really excited about finding a story to write and to keep writing until I got the 50000 words.
I find what I think is a good story and started to draw part of it the restrain myself from started to write in as I really wanted to do the NaNoWriMo challenge correctly.
I starting to practice my word count on an other story that I'm planing to finish after this one and saw that writing 2500 words a day was pretty difficult.
I also knew that it was the challenge I would have to face because I would have to stop writing on the 20th of November.
I really didn't expect to write so much so fast, I didn't expect to finish my 50000 today, but that's a nice birthday gift.
I think I really get into the idea of being a writer during the time of the challenge and the fact that I made it my principal activity and the principal center of my thoughts probably helped a lot.

So here we go, the stats of the day 2803 words written today 50410 words.

NaNoWriMo challenge : day 16

If everything goes fine tomorrow I will reach the ultimate goal of my NaNoWriMo challenge, that is the 50000 words. But the story will continue beyond that until I reach the proper ending which of course I know already and you don't :D
I'm very happy at the moment because the action has been accelerating for few days taking the story to a very interesting point.

NaNoWriMo challenge : day 15

I wrote more than 3000 words today, my average is also a bit more than that. I'm progressing a bit deeper in the story. I really enjoyed working on that part because it involved a bit more action than the parts I wrote those past few days. I also like having my vampires around, I think they add an other dimension to the story. Of course that one in based on Brownie and Sahel but Viorel is one of my important character and I'm planing on giving him a story of his own later. I also like that the artifacts are taking a part in the story. Brownie's aquamarine wasn't supposed to exist and the medallion that Viorel wasn't planed as well as the beginning.
It's amazing the little idea that can come to your mind out of nowhere.
Sometimes I don't really know what to write or how to describe something and I suddenly remember what I previously have in the story that can be used at that particular moment.
The dark shadow as also become one of my favorite character. I was laughing writing about him today and I won't stop laughing until the end of the story. I don't know if you like him too and if he makes you laugh as well or if it's only the way I see him.

Stats of the day 3202 words written which add up to 45066 words. I am less than 5000 words away. I'm so glad I'm there already. That seemed so far away two weeks ago.

NaNoWriMo challenge : day 14

Again a great day writing, I'm happy because I reached a new part of the story today.
And Sahel is now a very healthy little demon. That's going to be fun.
I also passed the 40000 words and the story is still going on nicely. It's even far from being finished.
I really like my dreams too at the moment, I have been spending so much time on this story during the last 14 days that I'm dreaming about it now and gets more idea to link the different parts.
I hope you still have fun reading it, as much as I have righting it. Don't hesitate leaving comments, I would really like to have something to read too.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 13

I started to write a very long time ago, when I was just a child actually I was writing stories during the breaks at school. I don't think I ever finished any of those stories. I think the main problem I add was that I was just writing. I was making my characters evolute in their world without knowing where they were going.
Obviously they got lost and I got lost as well. And the story got lost.
I even wrote a very long one, and don't think I even finished the beginning of it.
I just liked writing. But this time, I have a plan, I know where I'm going, I know the end of the story and that makes it a lot easier to write. I think that's the main reason why I'm doing so well so far.

NaNoWriMo Challenge : day 12

Today, I had no problem to write, I just sad at the computer and wrote my 2500 words.
I know I should be further in the story and that lots of the things I'm writing now where not in the original plan but I think they are bringing an other dimension to the story. Especially because I'm letting you know more things about my characters and you will maybe end up knowing them as well as do. Maybe not yet though, I still have a lot to tell you.
And who care if the story is twice longer than I planed initially. More words = more fun, right?
Thinking about it when I concentrate on my creation, I write about 500 words in half an hour.
During that half hour, you have the typing and the creation of sentence and the little breaks during which you fine the following ideas. That a really interesting process. Also 30 mins is a very good length to be able to concentrate. Then you can take a 5 min breaks or continue and add more. I really like it.
I also enjoy a lot writing very detailed descriptions about what my characters are doing day by day and talking about their pasts. For me their pasts and memories show exactly their current behavior, like in real life.
