Summary of the previous episodes:
Viorel has been tortured by his
supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely
enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of
who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left
Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a
previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The
little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole
and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but
nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi)
taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my
holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would
like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still
managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady
before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of
persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a
deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got
some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were
he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week.
“You would almost look acceptable now”, the master said looking at her.
Sorina draw back a little but the servant pushed her and she felt on her knees, her fragile legs refusing to carry her any longer. She just found enough strength to look around. She recognized the vampires she had seen with Viorel so often when they had come to her father’s inn at night. They were all looking at her in silence. She didn’t know what she was supposed to say or do, she wished she could have been somewhere else, very far away. She wondered where Viorel was at this moment. He was her only chance to stay herself now but she knew that if he hadn’t come back already he wasn’t going to come back anytime soon. She lowered her head and looked furtively at the door behind her measuring her chance to run to it before they jump on her. That was hopeless, she couldn’t even stand. She hurt her helpless legs looking at them as if it was their fault but she knew it wasn’t. It all started when the others arrive and when they decided to play the dangerous game of meeting with one of them.
He didn’t seem to be dangerous the first time he came to the inn. He didn’t look like a vampire at all he had deep green eyes when theirs were bright red due to the frequent blood they were sucking out of people. He was being really nice to her, as they were talking she felt like she was falling in a dream unable to move away from him. It was as if all willpower had left her. And suddenly Viorel was between them holding her.
“Are you ok?” he asked not taking his eyes of the vampire.
“I think so”, Sorina muttered as if she had just awaken from a very nice dream and just didn’t remember what it was about.
“Did he do anything to you?” Viorel asked again anxiety in his voice.
“I don’t think so”, Sorina answered holding him tighter.
“I didn’t touch her, I didn’t know she was yours, most of human’s are ugly here, can we share, I won’t drink but”, the boy answered.
Viorel pushed him violently.
“She is not for drinking”, he said. He walked around the counter with Sorina trying to put something between her and the other vampire. He jumped on the counter and squat there putting his head on the side looking at them strangely.
“You’re not like the others”, he said humming the air around, “you two smell the same.”
Viorel didn’t really understand what he meant by that. For him nothing was smelling like Sorina.
“What do you want?” he said defensively.
“I’m kind of bored. I’m tired of traveling so I hope I can stay here a little, do you have anything to eat?” the vampire said.
Viorel grabbed the first fruit that came to his hand. It was an apple and threw it to the vampire who started to laugh. He jumped down from the counter and turned around. “I’ll pass the word”, he said reaching the door. He threw to apple back to Viorel without even turning around and when Viorel caught it, he was already gone.
