Let's start right where we left off last time.

"Some people really are full f shit aren't they?"
Billy was standing at his door. We had had this conversation just in from of his room.
"People tell me every day that history is so damn easy," he continues. "Still we have the same amount of drop out after the same semester as anyone else. If physics is so damn easy, what isn't everyone doing? Go figure. Personally, I'll rather spend my time with really dead people than to try and see if the cat's dead or not, know what I mean."
He scratched his messy and oily hair.
"Thank you Billy," I said.
"I better go get a shower, they put a class at 11am, who the hell can get up this early."
I moved aside and he closed his door not bothering to even lock it and walked barefoot through the corridor carrying a small plastic bag and a towel.
"So you spent the night at Billy's, I didn't know he was your type," Alex said.
It was the second time that guys sneaked on me today without me seeing or hearing them arrive and it was not my favorite thing.
"He said something interesting," I answered not letting Alex's remark about my attraction for Billy drift one.
"Really," Alex said.

Wednesday Snippet 282: Blue Angel

Welcome to a new part of Blue Angel unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

“You are not in position to dictate what you will do,” the demon said throwing him the trident.
Kamaril seized it but received and electric shock. He tried to resist it the best he could wondering what was happening.
“You can have it but it is trapped and you can't use it,” the demon said, “You bring me back what I need and I'll give you the counter-spell
“And you think I'm going to believe that,” Kamaril answered.
He could barely hold the trident but wasn't going to let it out of his grip either.
“You don't have much choices,” the demon said.
“I want to go play outside with Kamaril too, you know he is Poseidon and he promised to tell me how it is to leave under the sea with the fishes and to get me an ice cream,” Lonan said counting on his finger to make sure he remembered everything he was supposed to do with Kamaril once they were out of here.
“Don't you prefer to see your brothers?” the demon asked.
Kamaril looked up at him amazed. If theses two were definitely here, that meant a lot of trouble for him and he would have no chance but to do what he was asked too, these two were really strong.
“I want to see my brothers but they let me wait for so long, can't I go with Kamaril first and see them when I come back, he is not really strong for a demon, he almost don't fight, I needed to do everything alone, I'm sure he will get in trouble without me,” Lonan said.
Kamaril couldn't believe his own ears and the demon laughed.
“I'm sure he will be just find on his own, I'm sending him somewhere were people are a lot weaker than demons,” the demon answered.
“This sounds very boring,” Lonan answered pouting, “where is that?”
“What do you want from me?” Kamaril asked.
“I want you to go to the fairy world and...” the demon started but Lonan interrupted him.

About Witch Raising: The Book of Fire

Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.

The excerpt, we start where we left off last time

"Caves are really bad for hair too," Sandy added, "We are going to go shopping."
"I'm doing the temple before the parade, then the parade with a stop to the second temple at the top of the hill. Then catch back with the parade and go down to the cave. There are three different section but only two are opened to the public tomorrow because the third one can't take too many people. Then they are going to lit the cave on fire and bring the fire back to the city center for the bon fire and the dances will follow," Samantha said.
"Wow, you really did your research," Brownie said impressed.
"It's a sixteen kilometer trip around the city from the temple to the cave. It takes two more kilometers to hike the hill to the other temple and come down," Samantha said.
"And you'll die before you can walk that much in a day, it's not human," Samuel answered.
Samantha rose an eyebrow.
"I guess I better eat my protein then, I'm going to need all the muscle I can muster."
Marri let out an exasperating sigh.
"You wouldn't need protein from a poor innocent cow if you acted like a girl," Sandy said.
"Can I join you?" Brownie asked cutting in before the stream of insult begun.
"Sure," Samantha said, "but you better be ready to feel like hell tomorrow night but I can promise you you'll sleep well."
Brownie smiled.

Mystery Monday 76: Harajuku Kiss

Welcome Mystery Monday. For this weekly writing blog post, I will be presenting snippets of my novel Harajuku Kiss, a mystery romance in Japan.
I hope you'll enjoy following our heroine through her thoughts and adventures.

About Harajuku Kiss

At times, life can be so depressing. She is walking her usual recovery tour in Harajuku, finishing with a crepe, trying to forget that her boyfriend dumped her once again for the week-end... When the unthinkable happens... A boy stops in front of her in the street and kisses her, in the middle of the street, before running away.
Trying to discover more about him, she is dragged into a dangerous game of mystery. A biologist has been murdered and a deadly virus is on the loose. First suspect: the mysterious Harajuku's stranger.

Here is the snippet for this week (Check out the previous snippet here)

All in all, it had taken me two hours and after vomiting the night before and skipping breakfast, I was starved. Once again, I hope Seiji was worth it, because on top of everything, I wasn't more advanced than I was last night and I still had to do something with the memory stick.
I finally ate breakfast in front of the computer as usual. I plugged the memory stick straight away and didn’t even bother to check the last conversations going on in my so busy virtual life. I carefully didn’t open the photo folder. I would need to go back to it at some point but getting back to it during breakfast didn't sound safe. I decided that the safest place to start was one of the folder named from chemical elements. Just the name of them was giving me a strange sensation. They were definitely organic molecules, but their organization was somehow out of my reach. I’m not an expert in biology, I’m a physicist.
