Doll Show 49 in Asakusa (with video)

Today was the Dolll Show 49. Once again they changed the location and put it in Asakusa instead of Ikebukuro. This is sort of nice for me since it's only about 30 minutes away from where I now live.

The doll show was pretty big since instead of the usual two floors, it was help on fourth floor, the last floor being for putting your own doll like a doll meeting and have some food. It was the first time they actually had ood present normally you would have to go out to eat something.

Strangely, there weren't many big company represented. Actually Groove and Cu-poche generally show up but they weren't around this time.

Azone had their usual announcement, they presented the new character azone 50cm, the new Alisa and Lycee Meow Meow a la mode which all have a sort of purplish color involved. Then they finally introduced Aoto and Yuta Otogi no Kuni which I have been waiting for for so long. They also have a new Snow White and a new Alice tea party doll in this series. I'm thinking that I might need to get them both so I'm not very sure. Then there is the new Adventure Steampunk collection doll, which are coming out in April and May. This is pretty exciting. I'll probably have some comparison pictures as they apparently made changes on their faces since the last announcement.

I went a bit over board with taking pictures with 428 in total so this video is pretty long. I'm giving my impression at the end if you want to skip parts.

Complete Doll Collection: Tour de Shelves (March 2017) (with video)

Today, I'm giving you a tour of my shelves. The big idea was to make this video only after opening all the boxes and tiding up things. I will be moving really soon, so I can't possibly open all the box and fix everything just to pack them up again. Instead, I wanted to have a sort of memory of the place as it is now. That way this video can serve as a "before" and when I'm done installing everything in my new place we'll have an "after".
So today in this video, you'll see, what's basically around me, work in progress, unopened dolls, the excute otogi no kuni shelve, the steampunk/old style shelve, the kikipop and sahra's a la mode shelves, the vocaloid/bjd shelve, the recently open doll shelve including the grail dolls, the lil'fairy table, the Alice's shelves and fairy tales dolls with vampires, the anime shelves and the rest of the dolls I guess. Oh and my MIO obviously.
That's basically it and that's quite a lot so enjoy the ride!

Kikipop Lovers Smile Opening and Review: Marron Brown (with video)

You can't have one Kiki without the other so here we go review number too for our Lovers Smile duo.

This little guy is called Marron Brown. Marron actually means Chestnut in French. so of course he has brown hair. He also has brown eyes, more on a copper kind of colour, it's really pretty. He also has the upper part of his eyes colour black as a sort of eyelid.

He comes with an extra pair of hands, a stand with mushroom drawn on it, a hat, a white shirt with a red ribbon and a little yellow gem stone, a green jacket, green short trousers, black socks and a pair of brown leathery shoes.

Personally between Champagne and Marron, I can't pick a favourite, they are both adorable.

Kikipop Lovers Smile Opening and Review: Champagne Blond (with video)

Today, I have a little announcement to make. My first pattern is finally on Ravelry if you want to have a look: here.

Cherry baby girl is based on a strawberry short cake character.  I hope you'll like her. Don't forget to send me pictures if you make one.

Anyway. Today's video is about the newly released Azone Kikipop from the series called Lovers Smile.

This time Azone actually made little boy kiki or little tomboy. Since I already have so many girls, I think mine are boys.

In this video, I'm opening Champagne Blond. Since the name of the kikipop dolls are given according to the hair color, that's the one with the blond hair. He is wearing a hat and a sort of short sleeve and short trousers suit. He looks a bit like a little prince. I like the details in the outfit, especially the little gemstone on the ribbon around his neck and the KP golden letter on his hat.

This series of Kikipop doll also have a new blacked upper part of the eye chips giving them a sort of tired or looking down look. I guess it's a nice first try for eyelids.

Today at the Azone store Special: Dollchick + closet in azone tour (with video)

So once again, I went to the azone store. Actually, I went to other doll store too before, basically, we took the long trip to the azone store. But anyway only azone store pictures in here. They were holding the last day of the Dollchick + closet in azone tour event for Kikipop and unfortunately all the stuff I wanted to buy was already sold when I got there. I can totally blame myself for going there on the last day instead of going on the first day. Lesson learned.

Kikipop Box Opening and Review: Rourou Panda Oriental Silver (with video)

And here is the second little one. She is so cute. She is the Rourou panda Oriental Silver.
I like the fact that she has very pretty purple eyes. She is wearing the same outfit as Asian Brown but in black and silver instead of red and black. She also has the same hair style.
She comes with an extra pair of hand and a little panda bag.
The Rourou panda kikipop are limited Rourou store and azone.net so I don't know if they will be sold at the usual azone store and retailers.
Anyway, I'm really glad to have mine.

Kikipop Box Opening and Review: Rourou Panda Asian Brown (with video)

As promised here is the review of my new Azone Kikipop doll, The Rourou panda collaboration doll: Asian Brown.
This version of Kikipop changes a lot from the previous version especially because of the hair cut. This time around, Kiki's hair is very short at the back and she has two little bun in a traditional Chinese style.
She also wear a rather Chinese looking outfit in the shape of the top with a lot of panda printed in the fabric. She is wearing a flower in her hair and a tulle and lace dress. She also has panda printed shoes with a little ribbon to keep them in place finished with a Chinese knot. 

Her eyes are a silvery blue colour or maybe green they seen to change color with the light.

Vlog #49 New Deliveries: pokemon go and kikipop (with video)

A few new deliveries came. My boyfriend woke up super early to order the pokemon go plus device online because he is a bit crazy. Though it was sold out really fast. Mine arrived first and his arrived a day later. I can't show you the device because he was out catching pokemon when I filmed this video.

Then I also got some super cool gloves that will allow me to use my ipad and iphone when outside this winter. It's going to be super efficient when I need to take the train because I'm always reading and it can get really cold.

And then of course, the RouRou Panda Kikipop arrived. After wondering if they were coming at all, they were finally delivered. Funny thing, my boyfriend rushed to get the packet thinking it was his pokemon go plus, haha, he never wake up for delivery.

Kikis dress up (New deliveries and Kikipop video)

This morning I received my new custom made iphone case. It was a bit of a challenge for me customising it and also a lot of fun. I think it totally nailed Hibarichan's personality as it says "My name is Hibarichan I'm God" and mine with the Schrödinger equation and the 1/2 cats.

Then yesterday, I received a bunch of Azone clothes from Amiami. I have had those clothes on my wish list for a while now. I always wait until it's too late and then regret not getting stuff so I decided to have an order to clear up my wish list a bit. I have clothes for pureneemo, lil'fairies and of course kikipop.
In this video, I'm dressing up my 6 kikipop in new outfits. I'm still waiting for my Rourou Panda to arrive so I'll show them to you when they reach home.

Special Rourou Kikipop event

So today, I went to the Rourou Kikipop event. It was really cool.

It was rather small but there were very cute kikis there and the people from Rourou and Azone were really nice.

You could buy all the old outfit from azone kikipop and the new Rourou panda kikipop release. There was also a place to take picture of your kikis but as I didn't have mine with me I couldn't take pictures.

Then as I was waiting for a friend for so long, people started talking to me and the president of Azone put some dolls on the photo display for me to take pictures of them, that was so cool.

Maybe tomorrow I'll go back with some of my dolls to be able to take pictures of them.

As I said I don't have my Rourou panda kikipop yet but they must be on the way by now.

Sweet day! Who wants cake? (With doll videos and photo album)

In this video I introduce my newly arrived Alpaca. I also discussed how I always wait for ever before actually buying stuff I want and often it ends up being sold out before I can make the decision to purchase it.

I also show of some of my stuff from a recent trip to the yakuyen store. I managed to find really cute fabric for new doll outfits (they can also be used for background during a photo session. As well as little erasers in the shape of food, cakes and sweets that I go for my dolls.

Of course as usual the video finishes with a photo session and you can see how the sweets and cakes fit with pullip, taeyang, isul, my bjd soso from Ppinkydoll and my romantic sugar frill kikipops.

I really like those little erasers, I'm thinking that I might try to get some more. Maybe not cakes but sushis or even objects that the dolls could use.

Azone Hello Kikipop series 1 (2) and 3 body comparison (with video)

With the third released of Azone Hello Kikipop Kikis, the sunny bunny date, the doll body has been slightly modified. I thought I remembered more information about that but I couldn't manage to find more than a picture talking about the wrists and the ankles.

In the following video, I compare the first body worn by the first and second series of kikipop dolls with the second body worn by the third series. For this purpose, I'm using the first series Honey Pink doll and the third series Sunny Bunny Date Strawberry Milk.

I think I can notice very tiny difference in the joins. The main one being the Strawberry Milk not fully straight and have a slightly better sitting position. Other than that the changes including those on the wrists and ankles seem very minimal.

The main difference announced was the wrists and ankles.

We can see that the doll on the left (Sunny Bunny Date Strawberry Milk) has a slightly better bent.

The Sunny Bunny Date can also put her ankle slightly straighter but the different is minimal.
