Doll Surgery: Mahiro is in trouble

Some times ago, I went to the Azone Store because I needed a skeleton piece for Mahiro. Mahiro is an Azone 50cm and the arm socket on her skeleton broke, I tried to glue it back together but of course it didn’t work so I had no choice but to get a new piece. Luckily, a friend told me how to go about changing the piece and also sent me a video. Then the clerks at azone store were very helpful telling me I picked the correct skeleton piece.

It took me a while to get it done because I’ve never done it before and I was a bit anxious but finally today was the day when the motivation kicked in. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Sale day at the Azone Store Akihabara (with video)

On Saturday, there was a sale at the Azone stores all over the country, mentioning up to 50% off, including for dolls. I am still looking for some lil'fairy so I would really have loved to get some cheaper than normal. I decided to go have a look. 

The sale wasn't much different than the normal sale that comes and goes at the azone store. The dolls on sale were put all together in a corner so they were easy to spot. 

Unfortunately for me, none of them were actually dolls I was looking for. 

The clothes were a bit harder to find as they were placed in the middle of the general items. Once again, I couldn't find anything special. This just ended up being a photo trip with no buy. Azone reorganised the doll display quite a bit with big dolls under glass at the front of the store on the inside. 

After my trip to azone, I went ot IKEA so you can see some pictures of Hibarichan there. 

Alice's out door photo session

I took a poll Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to see if I should take Sarang or Alice out for a photo session. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The poll results were 6 to 3 in favor of Alice. With:

Facebook 3-0
Instagram 2-2
Twitter 1-1 

So I took Alice outside today for a walk! 

There are still a few flowers blooming at the entrance of my building.

Then we climbed the stairs to go to the river. Yatta we made it to the top!

Now we just have to go down to the other side, preparing to slide down there!

It rained and the grass is all wet so we have to stay on the road!

Alice: I can see myself in the pond! 

Me: Are you sure!

Alice: Yes, Yes, take a look!

A little after that we realised that we had lots our little cat friend so we had to go half the way back to find him. Someone was already looking at him when we approached but didn't actually take him. Inside, I was like "Hey, that's MY cat."

I think both Alice and Hana (That's the name of the Zap Cat) got a bit scared.

Alice: I thought I would never see you again!!

Alice: Can we go home now that sun is getting in my eyes.

To be honest that wasn't the best time of the day for a session on this side since the sun was coming down and it was pretty hot. Though at this time of the year the sun is on this side almost all day.

Idoll in time of COVID: My first time as a seller

Yesterday was my first idoll as a seller! I tried to go to two events before, once in March and then in May but they were both canceled because of COVID. This time, I managed to get a booth for the first day of the Tokyo idoll.

Because of COVID, there were some heavy restrictions. The row of tables were very far apart so that there were a lot less rows than usual. We also needed some distancing between the booth instead of having them next to each other, which means that there were a lot less sellers per row.

It was a very strange idoll. Unfortunately, a lot of sellers weren't there and a lot of booths were empty. There weren't many customers either. I had the time to go around the entire festival which I wouldn't have had if it had been a normal day. As you will see, when before I had enough pictures for 2 sometimes even 3 videos, this time I barely had enough for this one video.

After idoll, on the way back home, we stopped in Akihabara for sushi so I took the opportunity to go to the Azone store. They didn't have any expo but they had a lot of new display. They changed the organisation of the store again.

Azone Ikebukuro, Dollyteria and A NEW DOLL (with video)

Today I was in Ikebukuro so I used this opportunity to visit the azone store and Dollyteria.

I was secretly looking for the dolls on sales that I had noticed on twitter but I was a bit too late for those. Still I managed to find a Cream Anmitsu Yuzuha Pico Neemo! She was the last one in store so after hesitating on getting her, I finally took her home.

The Cream Anmitsu Yuzuha is the only one in the Sweet Sweet a la mode series of pureneemo to have two versions. It was a bit hard to get them both. The piconeemo serie however only have one version so I'm really happy to have her with her two big sisters.

Now, I'm just missing two dolls in this Pico Sahra's a la mode series so fingers crossed I'll get them one day!

New(ish) Ikebukuro Azone Store tour (with video)

Since we are all stuck at home, I decided to finally make that video which has been waiting on my computer for ever and upload it.

A few months ago the Ikebukuro azone store changed location to somewhere maybe a little bit bigger but definitely a lot harder to find. I had a friend coming to visit from the US so we decided to check that store together. So this is the first time I present this store on my channel.

Pullip Carnival 2019 in Harajuku! (with video)

Today was the Pullip Carnival in Harajuku Space!

The carnival was on two floors. On the second floor, they presented the dolls for the competition, some people were selling doll clothes and you could take pictures of your own dolls in two dioramas.

On the basement floor, you have a display of dolls created by art students, the latest releases, and the new prototype (no picture of those allowed but you could vote for them). Then they also had a workshop to build your own pullip and the first Isul workshop in Tokyo.

They also had a stamp rally in different stores in Harajuku, so we walked around and got them all for a clear file.
