Japan : Trip to 日光市, part 1 climbing

On the week-end of the golden week, we decided to go on a trip to 日光市(Nikko). We had a very early start, hopefully, 5.10 am, lots of things to do, lots of things to see. That was pretty cool to meet in the morning, everybody with sleepy head. I didn't sleep at all as I was too excited. The group of Korean was up to send us of, they didn't sleep yet either. I should really spend more time with them, sometimes polyphasic's night can get a bit lonely. I'm still wondering why people need to sleep that much. Anyway, we took several trains to reach Nikko and then the bus which took us to the mountain. The sky was very clear and the weather a bit cold and getting colder as we went up with the chair lift. We took the chair lift three times to reach the top and then we still had a bit of climbing to do. That was kind of muddy and slippery, but we finally all reached the top alive.

I won Script Frenzy : Vienna's Ghost

So that's it I'm officially a script frenzy winner as you can see here. Writing a script was a lot different than writing a novel, I'm glad I started this new challenge at the beginning of the month. I didn't write every day like I usually do for the novels. Probably because when I started to see how fast the page count was going up I had a little bit of overconfidence like my friend is explaining here. I wasn't the only one suffering from it I guess. Writing a script is still easier than a novel. Just next time I won't let 45 pages for the last 2 days. I think that's a bit over doing it.

If you are already familiar with my writing you will encounter in this script characters you already know, Brownie, Sahel, Viorel and Gideon from "Demon soul" and Kallisto and Seti from "Demon and fairy". I know I promised more of "Demon and fairy" and that will come really soon now that I'm done with the challenges. I'm also intending to finish the edition of "Demon soul" for my free print. I'll show you pictures when I'll get it.

Tips about writing :
1) If you don't know what to write add a vampire. I'm just half kidding here but Viorel tend to make the story funny and interesting... heu, don't use him ok, get your own vampire.
2) Repeat the same song while writing. No that's not boring !! Repeating seriously help to concentrate, ok, I'm kind of sick of that song too, I used it for like 15 hours in 2 days. But I can sing it all too :D
3) A script is not like a novel. I never had problem to finish the challenge and to get the word count write for the novel. But I did for the script. I finished the story with 93 pages. I was a bit annoyed. So I started editing a bit and adding more part (especially about the side characters that I know well) And that worked pretty well, proof is that I win.
4) Take a shower, yeah in the middle of the afternoon too, that will reset your creativity.

I was also working on a group script, but we couldn't manage to finish (over-confidence again?) Anyway I hope to have it finish sometimes and to put it on here for you to read as long as my writing partner are happy with that of course.

미안하다, 사랑한다 (I'm Sorry, I Love You)

미안하다, 사랑한다 is a Korean drama in 16 episodes from 2004. That's the first drama in the revenge genre, the second of the series is 이 죽일놈의 사랑. 

Cha Moo Hyuk was adopted by an Australian family when he was a baby. In the interview at the beginning of the series he seems to be the only one who doesn't want to take revenge on his parents for abandoning him thinking that they must have had a really good reason for it.
When his girl-friend gets married to a rich guy and he gets shot in the head he flew to Korea. The bullet can't be remove from his head changing slowly his personality. He discovers that his birth mother is in fact a famous actress  Oh Deul Hee. Seeing that she didn't have a good reason for abandoning him he will try to take revenge on her and her son Choi Yune. But he falls in love with Choi Yune's coordinator Song Eun Chae.

I really like this drama especially because there are several things unexpected. Also because the people are changing their initial plans. I also really like the music.

Japan : Okonomiyaki

Last week-end we went to the restaurant to eat okonomiyaki. In this particular restaurant they bring you the ingredients already mixed and you cook your okonomiyaki yourself on a heating table. We were four at each table and at my table we decided that we will share all the okonomiyaki so that everybody could have a taste of everything. We ordered four okonomiyaki, that was too much and we were all full but not enough for the free desert ankogyoza.

Japan : 深大寺 and 神代植物公園

This week-end I went to the 深大寺 and 神代植物公園 with some friends. That wasn't the first time that I went to this temple. The first time was few weeks ago during the festival with my supervisor. I also went once or twice on my own but with the other that's a lot funnier. We first has delicious soba noodles at one of the temple restaurants. Then we walk around the temple and went to the botanic garden. That was my first time in the botanic garden. I think I will have to go back there when the roses are actually blooming. But the green house was interesting. I took to many picture of flowers.
