From the 18th of November 2009 until the 8th of December 2009, I have been traveling in the South of Peru. That was our first time in South America.
We took the plane first from Belfast to London, from London to Madrid in which airport we had to run a little to catch out plane on time, I almost though that we were going to stay in Spain, form Madrid to Lima.

We arrived in Lima and made a circuit by Bus in the South part of the country visiting Paracas and the Ballestas Island, Nazca, Arequipa, Colca canyon, Puno and the Titicaca lake, Cuzco and the Machu Pichu...
This new part of the travel section will present you our adventure in Peru day by day as well as lots of photos as usual.
Stay tune for discovering our first day in Lima.

JanNoWriMo challenge : "Attic Mirror" part 5

I went through a kind of writer block and didn't reach my word count every day.
I'm getting better. I went to spend one afternoon in a café writing by hand and came back with a lot of ideas. I found some of my characters really inspiring, especially Gideon. He wasn't supposed to be in Demon Soul at the start but he was very helpful there and I wanted to have him in Attic Mirror as well without really knowing how. But now I realize that he is one of my favorite character and I love having hum around even if that's only for a minor role.

Stats : 6005 words more for a total of 35062 words.

Christmas Amigurumi : Xiao Meng's Amineko

En français
And one more Amineko to the list. I made this one for my friend Xiao Meng. She really liked it and said that she will always keep it with her to give her strength as I'm always so strong and energetic. That's funny I think. On the second picture you can see it with Bleuet and Rosie.

Cooking : The sushi workshop

En français
It has been like forever since the last time I wrote a cooking post.
Well that one is a bit different from the others as it's not about recipe or a diet as usual but about a class.
Yesterday evening we went to my favorite Japanese restaurant in Belfast "The ginger tree" to have a sushi workshop. That was Sebastien's Christmas present. Two hours of making sushi with chef Taro explaining us everything and showing us how to roll the sushi and add the ingredient, followed buy a dinner at the end of which we could ask questions.
We also learn a bit more about Japanese sushi due to chef Taro's little quiz. Seriously if you are in Belfast don't hesitate to go for a workshop it seriously worth it.

At the end of the evening we went back home with our box of sushi each and the sushi mate we had been using. Don't they look so delicious ?
