As usual on New Year's Day, we went to the Azone store to pic up some
lucky bags.
I was unfortunately too late for the 1/6, 1/12, assault Lily bag but I
managed to get the Azone 50cm bag, so a lot of new stuff for Aane who is
definitely my most spoiled doll.
And I also got the Happy New Year Maya
regular version. I will get hopefully the limited doll show version at
the doll show next week.
We also went to Suruga-ya, it was my first time in their physical store
and I got Nendoroid Vocaloid Kaito. I always thought he was super cute
and he was kind of cheap so I couldn't resist.

Today, I went to Edogawabashi for the Bouquinerie Solidaire which is a
charity book sale, mostly in French. I wanted to go there for a while
but I actually missed the first time because of the rain and then forgot
about it until I discovered an email this morning.
I managed to find a few books. If I can read them all by the end of next
month, I'll go back to the event since it's held every 4th Sunday of
the month.
Then I went to the Azone store in Akihabara. They have transferred the
Kikipop festival dolls over there. And they have a few more so I wanted
to take a look. I brought dolls with me to take pictures, just in case
they had the dinner set up again but they didn't.
I also took pictures of the rest of the display. They still have some of
the Otogi no Kuni excutes, as well as the new release with swapped
outfit, and the Sahra's a la mode in the otogi no kuni outfit on
display. Since I hadn't seen them, that was really nice.
Then I decided to go to the Volks store on floor above. I don't go there
very often because normally you can't take pictures. They have changed
the entire set up of the store and I was able to take pictures and film
there. It was fantastic. They have a lot more dolls than before too and
more space to take pictures of your own dolls. It's not called the Volks
store anymore, it's called Doll point and it's for having fun on top of
buying doll stuff. True it was fun.
I also checked out other store so you can see some pullip footage. And I
bought some kachapon which I open at the end of the vlog video.
Today let's have a look at the new Azone Excute Sugar Dream Miu, the blue Unicorn!
I don't actually know what Azone is doing but it all started with two collaboration dolls with MAKI, the Sugar Dream Koron AKA rabbit and the Sugar Dream Chiika that would be the cat. I'm calling them that because that's the animal on their T-shirt.
They were super cute so of course, I got them both, Chiika is still on pre-order list so she should be arriving at the end of the month.
But then... They came out with two more Sugar Dream dolls, the Unicorn Miu.. because they have a unicorn on their T-shirt, obviously. They are also wearing the pastel clothes which are basically the same than Koron's and Chiika's except for the colour. The two Mius are for the 3rd year anniversary. Actually, it's the anniversary of the renewal of radio kaikan in Akihabara and at the same time of the Azone Akihabara store.
So we now have four dolls in the Sugar Dream Series. Are they going to make more? Is it the actual new excute series following the Otogi no Kuni series? Shall we expect to see all the excute family coming out as Sugar Dream? I don't know. Personally I don't really think so as the outfit seem too similar to me to be able to keep it up for all the excute but I guess we never know.
So I went to pick up the Mius at the azone store. It was super crowded but I managed. Here is the video of the pick up and box opening of both:
I really like Miu which is a bit weird because I'm generally not the hugest fan of semi closed eyes on Azone dolls. I think that the blue hair combinating really work well with her this time. She has a sort of 80ties feel to her with the shape of her clothes and the pastel color. I think azone did a good job making her a unicorn because people are a bit crazy about unicorns lately, I'm not sure why.
I like that she comes in a full purple and pink outfit too. She also has a bag that says Cute on it.

Today, I have another vlog for you. I was supposed to stay home and film review videos, but last night my husband told me that the azone store was selling lucky bags again for the anniversary. I freaking love that they have anniversary events like that, seriously.
So today, I once again went to Akihabara around 11 o'clock in the morning to try and grab my lucky bags. My husband was supposed to come with me but I let him sleep instead.
I could manage to get my bags just fine, there were a lot of people in radio Kaikan but not as much in the azone store itself, at least it was less crowded than yesterday overall.
I took some pictures of the Happiness Clover expo. The expo was in preparation yesterday so I was lucky to be able to see that today. Also, I took pictures of the other doll exposed all over the store. Then I went downstairs to Amiami. It was possible to vlog a bit on the inside, at least to take video of the store. There is so many things there, figures, dolls, plushies, cards....
And then of course, I went back home and couldn't wait to see what's inside the lucky bags.
It was actually a lot of fun and I'm so happy with all the clothes I got, I got super cute items.
Today I went to pick up the Miu Unicorns Excute at the azone store.
There are two of them, the very limited blue unicorn and the moderately limited mint unicorn.
They are basically the same except for the hair color.
I also wanted to get 2 more of the blue unicorn for friends, unfortunately, they only allowed two dolls per person.
I couldn't take any pictures at the store because it was only opened for those two dolls, people wanting other items actually waited outside to be allowed in. One thing that was really strange today was that I could get my doll before 11am. The sell was supposed to open at 11am but instead they started to let people in before I arrived. I arrived around 10:35am and there was no cue in the stairs as they usually do, instead we had to go back and forth between the product. I spend so much time queuing that I really wanted to buy some doll clothes but I didn't want to queue again to be allowed at the store.
I said on the video that I will have the reviews of the dolls up tomorrow but in fact, something came up and I'll have to go back to the azone store. That will be a surprise for you.
I also went to the new Amiami store in Radio Kaikan but it was super crowded and I couldn't vlog to I'll try that again tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a little better event though probably not because of the long weekend here in Japan.
So I had to go to the azone store to try and get the shoes of my Yuzuha. I was really anxious about it but it all turned up really well. I'm really glad that I could get the shoes without having to change the doll.
While I was in Akihabara, I managed to get a Taeyang Sage at my "secret" store.

Groove has been posting a lot about the store where we can find pullip all over Japan lately and more recently, they talked about a special event at Marui Annexe in Shinjuku. I generally don't go around much to hunt for pullip since a lot of store really have only a few but since this time it was a special event in a large store I decided to go check it out for you.
The event itself was quite small, they had a few customised dolls which actually aren't prototypes for new releases. And they were selling pullip goodies and dolls. The dolls were the most recent one only at full price, they also had the clothes for make it own and shoes also at full price so I didn't get anything there.
Then we went to Alice on Wednesday with is a Alice in wonderland store. I had heard that it was so cute and awesome and I had checked it on google. Basically, I created a different image in my mind which made me a bit disappointed at the lack of the "museum" style part.
The store has three floors, on the first floor you have Alice themed food and drinks, then you climb the stairs with mushroom painted on the wall on the way you meet the caterpillar.
The second floor is the jewellery and hair accessory floor with the throne of the queen of heart. Then you take the stairs to the third floor which has paining of roses and Alice art including the face of the Cheshire cat and the third floor is mostly books and cushion and some Mad Hatter decoration.
There wasn't really much places where I could put my dolls to take pictures. I wish I could I have books or cushion to make my pictures more Alice like but anyway that's basically all you can see on the video.
Then Hibarichan got a rabbit hat that's made for cats.
Today, I have a vlog for you. I went shopping with a friend for Fabric in Nippori. Nippori is also known as fabric town in Tokyo and you have store after stores of fabric there so you can easily find whatever you need. We went to Tomato because they are the cheapest one with cuts from 100yen per meters and pieces that you can buy really cheap. I bought several fabric and buttons that I will show to you.
We also went to Akihabara and I got a new Nendoroid. Her name is Yoshino. She is one of the first Nendoroid I had my eyes on. I don't care much for the anime she comes from but I like her because she is super cute.
I went to pick up The Limited Alisa Meow Meow a la mode from the azone store yesterday and at the same time, I took pictures of the current lil'fairy expo.
They show the lil'fairy in their original version, dressed with picco neemo clothes, some prototypes, some diorama and also the new series to be release from May to July.
I love the lil'fairy.
The only one I don't have in the original version is the Doll Show limited Eruno azone helper. I voted for her in the lil'fairy contest to have her remade but she didn't win so I'll have to find her some other way.
They didn't show the coordinate versions. They have a school girl coordinate and a new coordinate for the photo contest which I don't know if it's going to be a contest price only or if they are also going to come out. If they do, I'll be sure to grab the new Lipu, Eruno and Vel.
I also took pictures in the store, especially of the new Kikipops.
Today was the released day of the commemoration dolls between Azone and Nico. They made two dolls for the event: Minami Alice Tea party and Aika Snow White both part of the Otogi no Kuni series.
Of course, I went to get them at the azone store.
After a long time queuing, I finally managed to get both dolls and a sweater from Nico.
As I didn't take any pictures at the azone store today, I decide to open the boxes straight away when I went home.
Aika Snow White is basically the same as the previous Snow White Aike except for the hair and skin colour.
I thought I had a review of Snow White original version but apparently I don't so I will be reviewing this version really soon.

Then Minami Alice Tea Party has the same eyes and skin as the Limited Minami Mermaids from the otogi no Kuni series but she has different hair and a totally different outfit.

Today I went to the azone store to get the limited version of Maya Meow Meow a la mode. I ordered the regular version on amiami so she should be coming home soon.
The Maya Meow Meow a la mode were supposed to come out at the end of March but were delayed. It happens often with azone dolls, they are not delayed by a lot but they generally by a few days or a week. I was really impatient to get this doll so when I saw the twit, I jumped in my trousers to go and get her.
At the azone store they had a few changes in the usual display and they are also having the Nico expo since the two excute collaboration dolls with Nico for their work commemoration are coming out on the 15th. So I also took some pictures of that.
And of course, as promised, I took some pictures of the new pullip Cinderella and the Isul from Touken ranbu.
Today Azone's Twitter announced that Illumie was being released and that they had some of her left for grab in store. So I decided to jump on the train and to go grab her.
I was really lucky has they still had a lot of her to sell.
Of course, as usual I took a lot of pictures for you guys inside of the azone store. They have a lot of cute stuff going on. They also had a sort of Ruruko, momoko and pet works expo going on with the dolls from 2017.
Then I went to several store and I found two more dolls second hand. One is the extra sweet sweet a la mode Yuzuha. Since there is 10 but actually 11 with the 1.1 version. The other is Koron Little witch version 1.1 too I guess I was in the 1.1 mood.
So now I can really say that I have all the sweet sweet girls and my little witch koron also has her sister/friend, I haven't decided yet.

Yesterday I went to the Azone store for the Sahra's a la mode exposition. They had all the Sahra's ever created in there so it was a really nice time down Sahra's history line. Of course I took pictures of everything for you to see.
The general Sahra's expo finished today but the Meow Meow expo started two days ago and will continue for a little bit apparently. Though they only have Sahra and Maya, if you are like me waiting for the next announcement, it will probably happen at the doll show on the 20th and I'll report everything to you.
They also had a few diorama in place so I brought a few dolls and took a lot of pictures of them in there. You might recognise diorama from the Twinkle, Pink Pink and Sweet Sweet series.
Of course I also took a tour of the store and some pictures of what they generally have there.

Today, I went to the Doll Show 48. I went there really early to be able to get my Yuzuha Happy New Year so that now I have the pair. I wanted to see the next Otogi no Kuni dolls but unfornately, azone didn't announce any. They announced the new Kikipop who look like little boys so I'm really happy about that and they also announced the new line of Sahra's a la mode which is truly too adorable to pass on.
I took way too many pictures so even though they are all present in the video, I made different albums on facebook to keep things tidier.
After a discussion in a group about the Shibajuku girls, I decided to go to the nearest Toysrus and to check if they actually had the second generation of those dolls.
I wasn't really interested in the first series but the second series appealed a lot more to me.
The Shibajuku girls dolls were created in Australia by a mother and daughter trying to show the Harajuku style of fashion and the concept of the dolls is to be able to share hair accessories with them so they come with overly large hair accessories.
Unfortunately, it seems that these dolls can't be found in Japan.

As I was going on a trip yesterday, I took the opportunity to go on a doll hunt before taking my bus.
The plan for the day was to check out the Groove Lucky bag in Akihabara as it seemed that there were more couples of dolls than expected. When I arrived there and checked the bags, I noticed that there were about three dolls I didn't have but none of them were paired together and I didn't want to buy a doll I already have so I just gave up on that.
Though, I found a wig for my new bjd who should be coming home in the next few months.
Then I decided to go to my "secret" store to check on the Yuzuha Lapis Lazuli limited version from the Twinkle a la mode series. When I arrived, the floor where they normally have the dolls (azone and pullip) was closed so I decided to check out the other floors, just in case. Most of the floors had only figures. When I was about to give up however, I just turned my head to check the other side of the shelves and BAM, they were there, Azone dolls. So I asked the clerk and grabbed my Limited Yuzuha. Now I have 9 out of the 10 dolls in this series and I only need to find the Yuzuha not limited.
So I continued to mandarake where I checked the azone dolls, there were some that I liked but it bothered me a bit that a lot of them were missing shoes. They also had a nice amount of pullips. Still I couldn't find the last yuzuha.
I also went to amiami. They had nice clothes at a reduce price but then I already had a lot of clothes for this month so I didn't get anything. Still no Yuzuha but I guess she will show up eventually, they always do.
Then I walked to the Tokyo station and on the way I saw that the Imperial Palace was open to the public so I went there to show you guys what it looks like from the inside, though it was only the West side.
This year again, Azone was doing the lucky bag at their store in the 1st of January. The store opened at 10am for the lucky bag only and then at 11am for the regular shopping.
The lucky bag was just a grab and go thing so I didn't have time to take pictures at all of the dolls in there.
In this video, I'm opening all my lucky bags for you. It turned out that it was one of each kind allowed by person so I got two azone 50cm bags and two pureneemo bags, because my boyfriend was with me. I was very lucky because I didn't get the same items in both bags.
The only thing that I'm a bit disappointed about is that the two Sahra's a la mode doll that I got were dolls that I already have so I'll probably sell them at some point.
I got really nice outfits for my dolls and two excute Lien and Miu which I probably would never have bought it it wasn't for the event.
I also had a lot of nice outfit for Amane, with a few double that I might sell later on too.
I also got the two happy new year 2017 dolls. Neily and Yuzuha. I like that Neily is a little rooster, with one of my doll dressed as sheep, that gives me the start of a lil'fairy zoo. I hope they'll have new animal outfits later.
I also like the buy the New Year dolls in Yukata because Yukata are generally expensive so that's a normal price doll with an expensive outfit.
I dressed Amane in out of the outfit I got for her. She is my most spoiled doll. I have so many azone 50cm clothes now and just the one doll.
