NaNoWriMo 16th, 17th and 18th day log, and my writing tree (with video)

Welcome to another day of NaNo... or three.
I'm currently at 41957 words! Which is pretty good so far. Less than 8000 words to write by the end of the month to win!
In this video, I'm talking about my stats and what I call my book "tree" which is basically a big pictures of all the books I want to write. I hope you enjoy having a look at that as much as I will enjoy writing them.

NaNoWriMo 11th and 12th Day Log, Tip 9 and backache

So here is another 2 day log update with 0 words improvement. I'm going to try to do better today but I'm not sure how that will go. I'm so glad I followed my previous advice and got as many words as possible at the beginning so that I'm not really "late" on my writing. I still have a few words in advance so I don't need to worry too much.

And then here is your advice for today too. This is tips number 9 so only one left after that.

NaNoWriMo 9th day log, tip 7 and following my own advices

So I started following my own advice and had a massive catch up and a pretty good writing day. Write or Die is really too efficient for me. At this point I even felt like I could write the whole novel in one sitting, haha not happening but still it was a pretty good feeling.
I hope you'll enjoy today's new tips. I already decided to put in in practice when I finished today's writing session. Hopefully it will make tomorrow's writing even better.

NaNoWriMo 7&8th day log, tip 5 and 6, and the fire lions

So here is a double update with double tips because I didn't make a video yesterday. Yesterday I managed to make two doll videos that you might have seen about the kikipop Rourou panda doll and nothing else except sleeping. Today I slept until 4pm. I know this is crazy I have long period of insomnia when I don't sleep more than 2 hours at a time and then I sort of crash into this weird restless sleep that takes me around the clock.

I have a serious brainfog and can't concentrate much on anything for a long period of time and it's the first time it actually affect my writing that much. Anyway.
Day 7: 11 words
Day 8 so far: 377 words, more coming up.
When I say you need those words in advance, you see I'm not lying because there truly are days when nothing actually works out.
So I'm giving two tips today, just that if you are following them you don't get behind or something.

NaNoWriMo 6th day log, tip 4 and the use of flashbacks (with video

So today was a hard writing day. I actually finished the writing past midnight. One of the reason is that I don't know where this story is going. I don't know if I want Brownie to stop on the way and visit places as in an initiatic journey or if I want her to be just arriving to the place as fast as possible and just work really hard on what she needs to do to solve her problems.

Maybe I'll go for a little bit of both but I'm not sure yet how to do that.

Anyway that was right the problem I needed to implement tip 4, enjoy!

NaNoWriMo 5th day log and tips

On day five of NaNoWriMo... she created a city! I guess now that's official, my main character is taking the train to where ever is this new country I just created for the purpose of this story. I guess I'll really need to make a map of this world one of this day. Just it would have to be 3D and that's complicated.

NaNoWriMo 4th day log, Tip #2 and stats

It's day four of NaNoWriMo. I had a relatively late writing start today because I woke up with a headache. Then I managed to get going and reached 10791 words.
The story went from the Kitchen to the underground back to Brownie's room and "introduction" of four "new" characters. Maybe I should have started the story when she is already on her way because she seems to have a lot of trouble leaving the house. Hopefully I'll have her out by the end of the week-end.

NaNoWriMo 3rd day log, Tip #1 Win NaNoWriMo 100% guaranteed (with video)

I think I got a little bit crazy on this one. I'll try not to go crazy as much tomorrow but seriously though, if you want to win NaNoWriMo, you don't have to write the words on the deadline, you have to write them before the deadline. And to be dead serious if you don't have extra words in you pockets for the days when you can't physically write, and you've never been possessed by the crazy writing monster, then you're predominantly screwed. NaNoWriMo 2016: 2nd Day Log

NaNoWriMo 2016: 1st Day Log (with video)

Day 1 of NaNoWriMo.

Word count so far 2576 words.

So I started my new novel called "Witch Rising" today. It's a sequel to Fairy World in which we follow Brownie on her quest to find herself. So far it's really only the beginning.

I set myself a daily goal of 2500 words instead of 1666 because it is easier to deal with the final goal when you have some words in advance in your writing.

NaNoWriMo 2016: Introduction

Just a few hours left before the start of NaNoWriMo. Are you as excited as I am?

For those of you who don't know what NaNoWriMo is, it stands for National Novel Writing Month, it's a time when all over the world thousand of people start writing a new novel with one goal, reach 50000 words by the end of the month.

I'm still sort of brainstorming about what I'm going to write. I was checking up my tree but I think I might be writing something that hasn't been planned as I want to rock the Demon series's main relationship.

Fairy World Part 17 (NaNoWriMo 2014) Official Winner

As promised, here is the new part of Fairy World. I didn't write for a few days, then today, I managed to go through the 3500 words remaining with Isakael and validated my novel, which makes me an official winner of NaNoWriMo 6 days in advance. I gotta love that it's finally over. 

The novel is also seeing the ending, as all my characters, or most of them are finally in the castle. Then, I'll just have to wrap it up and have the magic, old and new awake. That sounds exciting enough to keep me writing. I'm also registering to NaNoFiMo, to actually make sure that I will finish this draft next month.

Here is my word graph. I was struggling a bit at the start, then managed a nice 5k a day for a few days, until today when I actually decided to get everything done. It was a nice race, now I just have to finish the novel by getting the demons out of the Fairy World.

My word count which will keep increasing until the end of the draft.

Fairy World Part 16 (NaNoWriMo 2014)

I did reach 45k well yesterday! (November 20). Even though I was almost certain not to be able to. So that's a big win and I might be able to finish NaNo today, especially that I have 6 hours in a bus to go to Tokyo so a lot of writing time on my hand.

The story is getting even crazier, but my characters actually seemed to be gathering (at least some of them) instead of being scattered all over the place. If you are asking yourself what the hell is going on? Don't ask me, I have not idea. I mean I know where the story is going and some key points, but in between key points I have absolutely no idea. Just enjoy your roller coaster ride.

Fairy World Part 15 (NaNoWriMo 2014)

I reached 40k today! Yeah me!

The little problem is that it took me 6 hours to write 5k when I used to be able to do it in 2.5 or 3 hours. I need to retrain myself that kinda suck big time because I have other things to do.

Go, I'll stop complaining because seriously being suddenly able to put this off is still really cool. 

At the same time the story is going completely crazy and I'm not sure how I'm going to wrap it up in the next 50k. I guess that was to be expected. The best would be to write and write and write until the end. We'll see how it goes.

So today I finally caught up with the part where Morgan is taking care of Seti, so it's included in that part, to make more sense just in case you forgot, because I know there is a hell lot of things going on in this novel and a lot of characters to remember and a lot of places and who does what too. But I mean, if I can remember I'm sure you can too.

Fairy World Part 14 (NaNoWriMo 2014)

Fairy World Part 13 (NaNoWriMo 2014)

Today on Fairy World, a super large catch up, you are not dreaming, I'm one day in advance, which means it always worth it to get up early to do the laundry.... Hum ok, that's irrelevant, but still, it's the first time this year that I'm actually in advance.

I worked with a lot of characters today and wrote almost 5k. And it was so awesome and fulfilling and I can stop hating myself for being so late and not being able to reach my own expectations.

So I guess: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!

Oh yes, in today's part, I half awoke a new god, but you seriously should have see it coming and I'm giving Amarelis some dream of her own.

Fairy World Part 12 (NaNoWriMo 2014)

Here is the very delayed part 12 of Fairy World. I reached 25k, which is the half mark yesterday. I'm a little delayed, but nothing to really worry about, I'll catch up in no time.
