Doll Review: Isul The Little Prince

I was asked on facebook for a review of Isul the little prince and since I also just got the rose, I thought I might as well get him reviewed first and make it a mini-series.
I went through a lot of troubles to get this doll and that made me discover so many stores in Tokyo that sell pullip. Some good, some a little less good. I love the little prince so much and I read the book multiple times so this was a must-have series for me. Though it took me a long time to actually get the Rose.
This Isul is super adorable. I love what they did with him. He has awesome blond hair, glittery eyes and he comes with a sword.

Complete Isul History (with video)

Today we are going to dive in the short history of Isul. I think Isul is one of the most Kawaii character in the pullip family, I absolutely love him and I hope to one day have all of him. I wasn't that far and then I didn't manage to get the last 4 yet.

Enjoy!

Tour de shelves, my doll collection

It has been a while since the last Tour de shelves. Actually, the last one was before I moved from Fuchu so that was last February and you guys haven't seen the dolls at this new place.
I have two huge pullip shelves and a small one and I have one shelves for Azone dolls and ball-jointed dolls and some of the dolls actually stay at other places near my desk. It's a little bit crazy.
I know that I still have some place for more pullips on those shelves even if it looks really crowded but I'm running out of space for my Sahra's a la mode and my excute especially.
I could always tidy up the lil'fairy shelf and remove the doll house but I don't really want to. I might add a new shelf later on near the small pullip shelf.
Anyway, here is a tour of my doll collection so far, Enjoy!

20/365 Isul Duke

Once again I needed pictures for a review video. This Isul is called Isul Duke and he is pretty hard to get so I'm really happy to have him. It's a bit unfortunate that the light wasn't a bit brighter.
My story for him is that he is part of character of an Agatha Christie novel with the nobility title and at the same time something of a romance story near the sea with a horse running in the background.

Doll review: Isul Duke (with video)

Today I'm opening Isul Duke.
Isul Duke is a very fancy Isul because of his mixed of French and British style and probably one of the hardest to get. He is from 2011 and was the third Isul to be made.
I found him on a second hand website that got updated every Sunday. A grabbed him as soon as I saw him without hesitation. He makes my 29th Isul out of the 38 Isul available from Groove. I don't know if I'll ever get them all but I feel so close to a full series now.
Isul Duke carries a lot of fancy stories for me. A bit like a character of an Agatha Christie novel with the nobility title and at the same time something of a romance story near the sea with a horse running in the background. I found him to be a really inspiring doll. I'm really happy to have him in my collection.

Doll Review: Isul Milk Tea (with video)

Today, I'm reviewing one of the Isul who had been escaping me the most: Isul Milk Tea.
Isul Milk Tea is part of a pair of doll with his sister Pullip Milk Latte. They both wear a sort of romantic and lacery outfit in the beige and crème tons.
Isul Milk Tea, look at the same time like a romantic prince and an artist. He has wavy hair, a long black line above his eyes and small royal looking accessories.
I took Milk Tea and Milk Latte out for a photo session and a cup of tea outside this morning.

19/365 Have a cup of tea

I needed some pictures of Isul Milk Tea for a doll review video so I took some pictures of him and Pullip Milk Latte outside at the park near my house.
I'm very happy to finally have the pair of them.
It was the first time I actually brought accessories outdoor with me to take a doll picture. I think it was a nice thing to have. It changes from the usual pictures I can take when I have only the doll.

Doll Review: Isul Lir Nostalgia (with video)

For a while I wanted to get Isul Milk Tea and Isul Lir Nostalgia. Isul Lir Nostalgia is the last doll I needed in the Whispering Island series. There are four dolls in this series. Isul Lir and Pullip Merl, who are the blue version of the doll, then the recoloration, Isul Lir and Pullip Merl Nostalgia dressed in red.
It took me a while to get this Isul because even if he wasn't really rare at the time, I didn't manage to find it at the sample sale and somehow there was always a doll I wanted before getting him. I finally managed to order him and Milk Tea from amazon so they came with their boxes.
I'm not doing an unboxing in this video as it's a bit harder to get Isuls out of their boxes and they often need to be undressed to get all the plastic out. So I skipped that part to go directly to the review.
Isuls are always super cute and Isul Lir Nostalgia is not an exception. He has nice brown eyes, cute wavy red-brown hair and a very nice sailor type outfit.
