About Witch Raising.
Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as
the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing
Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being
centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows
Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has
been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult
situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy
with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to
keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.
The excerpt starts right where we left off last week.
“What's that red stuff on him anyway?” She asked.
“Blood,” Brownie said.
“You're kidding.”
Brownie surely wished she was, but she could smell it. That was one of the smell that she would never forget. She had been in a place with a lot of blood everywhere and she had truly believed that it would be the only thing she would smell of all eternity. It was so strong, it was metallic like iron and with a mixture of fresh sweat. She hated the stuff, she hoped she would never have to do blood magic because she couldn't stand to look at the stuff. And more than anything, on this robe, she still hadn't figure out where all the blood came from and she was worried.
She opened the door and pulled on the guy, the door closed on him and he was stuck mid body.
“Why isn't he waking up?” Brownie asked.
