Hello mystery lovers and welcome to a new Mystery Monday.
I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at
the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to
Harajuku Kiss.
We start right were we left off last week:
“I wouldn't want you ladies to get into a fist fight,” my supervisor said laughing.
“You might be surprised at the result,” Anna said.
I would have bet she could have knocked out her good share of physicists. Not that fist fights would solve equations but at least people knew how to argue until the problems were solved. Right now, there were still people refusing quantum theory and pretending that the Hydrogen atom could be solved with Classical mechanics. My supervisor found that fascinating and I thought it highly exasperating. He had invited one of those speakers, such a waste of time. I guessed that type of persons were one of the reasons why theoreticians were on the verge of extinction as Anna said. There used to be a time where theory was the leading ground leading to break through, then they would work to figure out a way to prove theoretical results experimentally.
You can now find all the Snippets of Murder at the Conference on this blog all together right here.
