Welcome back to a new Thursday Fiction, it's been a while. We continue with Parallel Slip 2: Rebel where we left of last time, following Isabelle as she figure out who she really is.
“He never saw the light again, he was transferred from the hospital to the retirement home. My mother took all the money as a pre-will thing. I don't even understand how it works, how they could take everything he ever had.”
“That's awful,” Isabelle said.
That wasn't really appropriate but she had no idea what else to say. Eric didn't look like he needed a hug either. He looked angry.
“Once I have enough money, I'll battle her to set him free, but so far no luck, at least Romulus is helping,” he said.
So that was the deal between them. Eric needed money for his grand-father and Romulus needed someone to take care of her.
“How does it feel, to have Romulus in your head?”
