Welcome back to a new Thursday Fiction, it's been a while. We continue with Parallel Slip 2: Rebel where we left of last time, following Isabelle as she figure out who she really is.
She started pacing again too many thoughts moving in her head too fast. Mike warning her about Romulus... Mike and her mother plotting to get her initiation delayed... Mike favoring her brother... The unexplained death of her uncle... Romulus's father wanting her to marry him... The tracker...
Oris wasn't on the list of allowed universe which meant that Romulus was working outside of the alliance. But if she went to Oris and met him there, her mother would know. Why didn't Romulus thought about the tracker? Or maybe she could go quickly, maybe she could tell him it was too dangerous and that her mother was coming and they would both be safe.
She suddenly wanted to meet Romulus's host again, she really wondered what he was truly like.
She'd better get ready to sleep first before going, just in case someone entered the room without knocking. It was crazy to be so scared of everything in her own house. She wanted out, she needed out and she hoped that Romulus had a plan.
