Mystery Monday 132: Murder at the Conference 29

Welcome to Mystery Monday. This week, we continue with Murder at the Conference.

Let's get back where we left off with chapter 2 last week.

“You saw her only once and she barely talked to you, she just talked to me while staring at you because she still believed you killed somebody,” I said.

“Well I killed three mosquitoes today, see, I got bitten everywhere.”

He pushed his sleeve and showed three reddish mosquitoes bites on the back of his arm.

“Japanese mosquitoes are voracious,” I said.

“Yeah, and they always eat too much, that makes them slow and heavy, I can feel them land on my skin before they bite me,” Seiji said.

“Then why did you let those bite you?”

“They took advantage of my sleep,” Seiji said cutting a piece of okinomiyaki with his chopsticks. “Let's start cooking another one, what do you want in it?”

“Kanikama and kimchi,” I said.

He added the ingredients in the bowl as started to stir but I took it away.

“Just make yours and I'll make mine.”
