“Normal people are always integrated. Like I said before, my family only saw what they wanted and they were only one. In this house, all their self were here doing the same.”
“That makes absolutely no sense,” my other self blurt a little too loud and Ryan starts to cry again.
I'm about to give him a bottle but Wendy picks him up from his chair and he instantaneously stops. I swallow looking at her. She definitely doesn't look humans but she is one hell of a baby sitter. I gave her the bottle. She walks away to sit at the other end of the table and takes care of Ryan while I busy myself with Hiroshi.

Three months ago I found a turtle on the street. He wasn't looking too good so I decided to take him home. I had some technical difficulty with my blog so I couldn't add new pictures to show him to you earlier, but now it's fixed so let me introduce Mozart.

ReplyDeletewhat a lovely turtle! Seems to be thriving now.
Oh yes, it will take a a while to adjust and she is up for a bumpy ride.
DeleteSo true, people mostly do see what they want or expect to see. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteYes, very often and not for the best.
DeleteCute little turtle. It's probably a good thing you found him.
ReplyDeleteHe was covered in dirt, dehydrated and sunburned. He most likely wouldn't have survived where he was.
DeleteThat's interesting--that their other selves were at the house doing the same.
ReplyDeleteThe turtle is adorable. It's wonderful that you rescued him from the street. He looks so much healthier.
All those parts are waiting do be integrating in one but they are resisting.
DeleteHe is a lot better now. Growing him nicely.

ReplyDeleteDoes Mozart have a cameo in your story? Or multiple Mozarts, maybe? It would be interesting to see how animals function in this house.
ReplyDeleteOh no, Mozart is just a real turtle.
DeleteBut I do have a pet turtle in this house in a previous story from years ago.
