About Witch Raising: The Book of Fire

Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.

The excerpt, we start where we left off last week

"A lot of people have tried to understand, the crystal, nobody can. Nobody know why they grow back, nobody know why there is a tree and nobody understand how the crystal works with pictures. The only thing that would make sense is the craziest of them all." The monk said.

"And what is the crazyiest of them all?" Brownie asked.
"Well the crystal and the tree and the writing, it's not really here," the monk said with a wink.
That really was crazy. But Brownie had heard of crazier. If the crystals and the tree weren't really here but only visible through a sort of dimentional portal that would make sense. She had had one of those in her living room. Now was to figure out where the crystal portal would lead.
"Thank you," Brownie said.
"I think you should go have a look at the carving again, if they are here for you to see, they have to mean something for you and you only," the monk said. "I have mine too, very nice message."
It seemed a bit strange but Brownie smilled and went back to the carvings.

"What did he said?" Samantha asked.

"That the carvings were different for everyone," Brownie answered.
