She was looking down silently and that was a lot better, she could cry if she wanted to, now that he knew it was raining he had to try again to reach the window. He put his hands on the wall and looked up. It was so far away but he had brand new fingers thanks to the angel, now he was going to climb this a lot better. He find little hold in the stone wall, placed his fingers in there, clung tight and started to pull himself up putting his feet on the wall. He had tried without shoes but his feet hurt so much that he had no choice but to put them back on. They were heavy and large shoes and definitely not appropriate for climbing.
He climb a meter high, he was breathing heavily. He knew that horses weren't anywhere good at climbing but if stupid humans could do it, he was sure he could do it too. He looked at the window, he had tried to reached it several time but every time it had seemed further and further away. He made his next move rising his feet to a stone nearby, bending his knee. He pushed trying to reach a close-by stone a little more out of the wall than others with his right hand but slipped and landed harshly on the floor.
“Damn it,” he said closing his fist trying to remove the pain from his scratched fingers.
He felt the angel moving in his back but didn't bother to look at her. He couldn't have her ask him to cure him again, not now, he needed to get the hell out of here as fast as possible, he would take her with him and leave her in some village before getting back to see what Morgan was planning with the new queen in charge. That was a plan.
