“It's only four of them so far, nothing I can't handle, just go and relax. Plus if they come over I have few questions for them already prepared.”
Odeon sighed and stood up leaving his sit to his younger brother. He wasn't in the mood to argue that they needed to escape. Torsti had already set his mind on a direct confrontation which might not have been a bad idea if he had been in the mood to fight. He headed to the shower unresolved and decided to start with washing the clothes his brother had let on the floor.
Torsti let his hammer fall next to him, still making sure that it wasn't going to pass through the old and porous wooden floor.
He couldn't believe that the Hunters were already on the move. He had thought their head quarter had been destroyed when the other demons had started his Earthquake but now that he thought more carefully about it, he realised that it would have been foolish in the first place to gather powerful demons you wanted to kill in your most important place. The Hunters might have been reckless but they were far from being idiots. The four of them downstairs were questioning people in the street and conformally to the demon law, of course, nobody seemed to have heard or seen anything.
One of the Hunters grabbed a small demon in green jacket by the horns and pull him up the floor, the other demon kicked him in the chest before receiving a fireball on his check. The Hunters weren't here to joke around, they were looking for something and Torsti was almost certain of what it could be. His fingers were playing on the handle of his hammer. He wanted to go down have few words with him but he still needed to look after Odeon, his brother wasn't in his normal state and the water wasn't flowing yet in the shower.
