It's this time of the year when we are supposed to be happy, to be nice to everyone, to believe in Christmas magic. But most people are just busy buying presents just for the sake of it and counting how many they will get under the Christmas tree.
I didn't buy any presents this year, I didn't decorate a Christmas tree, I didn't cook a fancy meal for everyone to enjoy while being stressed out about how Christmas Eve was going to end up, if every one was going to be happy with their presents. Actually this year I didn't worry about Christmas at all, I just relax and enjoy the present time. I was told that I lack Christmas Spirit and maybe I do but I actually really enjoyed my Christmas this year and the wonderful present Santa gave me (had been asking a lot for this one but no, you won't know what it is, it's my secret.)
Anyway, I hope every body also manage to enjoy this busy time of the year in their own way and to bring some more joy to your new year celebration, here are the lights from Tokyo.

NaNoWriMo 2011: Detective story end
Last Monday, I actually finished to write "Harajuku kiss". I'm not totally sure if I'm totally happy with the ending or not yet but I tend to always rewrite the ending when editing to publish the novel anyway so the ending might change as well as other part of the story. I know that you have been waiting for a long time for the ending so here it is, I hope you'll enjoy this little Christmas present.

NaNoWriMo 2011: Detective story part 6
This part is not yet the last part. Things happened that I didn't plan at all and it got scary. Maybe I just got genius ideas or maybe I just got confused, it's for you to judge.
This part is also shorter than the others, I would say that's due to post NaNoWriMo recovery. I still hope you'll enjoy reading it.

I'm still keeping up on my word count. As long as there is process, it's good.

"Attic Mirror" news
So that's it, "Attic Mirror" is finally on sale.
I knew that I had been showing it off for a while now, between writing it and getting the first proof and reviewing it but now that's it, the wait is over, you can finally get it on Createspace.
And because I know you have been waiting for so long already and that you are all so impatient to know more about the story, I decided to start reading it for you. So here is the first part of the first Chapter. I'm not the best reader in the world but if you want to hear more of it, just let me know and by the end of the book I might have improved quite a bit. I hope you'll enjoy.
Don't forget to get "Attic Mirror" here.

NaNoWriMo 2011: Detective story part 5
For the 3rd time in a row I won NaNoWriMo. The first time in 2009 I only had 20 days to win and I managed to get "Demon Soul" partially written and hitting the non-return point.
In 2010, I manage to write the first part of "Vampire heart" and I know I still have a lot of work to do about it.
And this year, I managed to reach the 50000 words one day in advance by writing 5363 words on November 29th on my first detective story.
As usual however the story is not yet finished and I need about 20000 or 30000 more words to hit the ending but I reached the non-return point once again. And that is what NaNo is all about for me.
NaNoWriMo teaches you to finish stuff, to get into your novel so deeply that when you actually reach your 50000 words it is a lot easier to get the last couple of 10000 words needed than to give it up. NaNoWriMo teaches you habit, it teaches you to write everyday even if you don't want to write, if you have no ideas, if you are writing rubbish or if you are to old/smart/stupid/poor/rich/busy/French/analytical/perfectionist... to write. Because you know that you gotta do it anyway. NaNo allowed me to realized my childhood dream and to be somewhat of a writer. So here is the part of "Harajuku Kiss" (Yes the detective story does have a title now :) ) that crossed to 50000 finish line.
And don't worry, you'll have more coming in December.
