Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 198

Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything. Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest thing to handle.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week.

I have a cat, I need to go home and to give it the milk, it’s too small to feed itself alone,” she said.
As I turned around I thought that she had tears in her eyes. So that’s what it had been all about, a cat, she was more afraid for her cat than to be left with me alone after I had killed her dad and drink her blood the night before, some humans were very interesting. I didn’t regret to have kept her alone, she was going to teach me a lot about them during the trip.
Get ready, we will go take care of your cat,” I said opening the door.
She smiled at me while sitting up. I was going to feed on her, every day, I was going to take her away from her country and everything she knew, I was going to keep her weak and sick because I didn’t want the vampire to track me out of Praha too soon but she was still smiling at me. She was too young to realize the reality of life. I remembered the girl in Vienna. She had been drunk from by so many vampires, and she was so scared. At first I thought that it was because of them, I was also scared of vampire but seeing the reaction she had when I helped her escape and seeing the reaction of this one, those girls were more afraid by humans than by vampire. This one was afraid by the man part of me, not by the blood sucker part, yet. I heard a weak knock at the door and opened. She seemed like she was going to fall any minute, her body was trembling due to the lack of blood. I helped her in the carriage but curiously she didn’t have the reaction of someone going in a carriage for the first time. She was a lot different than Sorina. Poor people were always amazed at everything, at the comfortable sits even in bad carriage, at the etoffe of the curtain, at the windows and the speed. She gave me direction for her house but nothing more. As if she was familiar to the transportation. We reached her house in no time as it was only two streets away, I helped her out of the carriage, she knew how to be helped, I remembered Sorina not holding the hand of the coach but jumping down in front of me. This one held her hand up for me to seize and pulled her dress slightly up while walking down the stair. I stopped on the step of her house. I still needed an invitation to get in. Had she known at that time that she would have been freed from me that easily, she might not have invited me to enter. But she didn’t know, most people have never even heard of vampire and half of those who did believe that there were story to scare little children, women and weak minded people. Any man in his town would have try to fight against the vampire before realizing they had no chance to win. It was all part of the game.
Come in, I’ll need some help to find it,” she said.

Thursday Fiction 192: Parallel Slip

Welcome back to a new part of Parallel Slip, where we follow the adventures of Frederique through her slip in different parallel universes.

Let's start right where we left off last week.

"Dad, it's my life, my choice, no deal with it," she yelled in the phone and closed it to hang up.
She was trembling as bad as my other self at the hospital after the fire and she started to cry.
"It's the first time," she said between tears. "It's the first time I don't say yes to whatever they ask from me."
Alex erupted in the room without knocking.
"Mum said you have to call her back, she was hysterical, what happened?"
"I'm not calling her, she has my number too you know," Amy said looking up at him.
"Don't be like that, it's just you are more difficult to deal with," Alex said.
"I'm not more difficult to deal with, it's just that they don't want to deal with me, they never did, they always had you be the messenger to get their point across first so that I was prepare to take the blow," Amy said. "It's not fair for me and it's not fair for you either."
"So what do you want me to do, they'll keep calling me until you call them," Alex said.
He was totally oblivious to the fact his sister was struggling to stop crying.
"Tell them to call her instead," I said smiling.
Somehow it wasn't his fault either. He was just stuck in the middle. All right, he had been the one calling them in the first place leading to this all mess.
"So what happened?" Alex asked again.

Wednesday Snippet 195: Blue Angel

Welcome to a new part of Blue Angel unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

The seat weren't really seats. The cushions were close to the floor and what would have been the back seat was standing in front of you. He knelled there, his arms on the front wooden part, his hands joined in prayer. It was an uncomfortable position but ideal to keep you drop falling asleep while listening to the prayer. He wonder which part of the bible they were going to read. He had been too busy lately to keep on reading his and there were so many other good books out there, the humans were writing a lot. Of course, angels knew that was all lies but he liked the lies, they created good stories, terrible of course but good, they kept you dreaming.
The bells rang. After waiting more than an hour, everybody was finally knelling. They waited until the bell's echo stop and the words resonated in the place.
“God forgive me for I have sinned,” it said.
Isakael still didn't know where the words were coming from. Here all angels were identical there wasn't anyone higher than the other, nobody was to speak, they only listened and took the words in their heart. The words were still coming from somewhere. Once as a child he had asked and the answer was that they were God's words but it had never satisfy him, even if he had never asked again, as in this world, you weren't supposed to ask twice you only have to accept what was given to you. He wondered once again where God was, as the words resonated he could feel his presence more and more but he knew that he was still very far away.

Pico Maya Peach Pie Sweet a la mode (limited ver.) Azone Doll Review (with video)

Today, I'm reviewing Pico Maya the limited version from the Piconeemo series of Sahra's a la mode Sweet a la mode series.
I'm very happy to have this one because the pureneemo version of her was my first Sahra's a la mode doll and of course as usual, they look super cute together.

This version of Maya has all of the sweet sweet a la mode characteristic, she comes with the exact same outfit as the larger doll, just in a smaller version. She is dressed in white and light pink with a light green highlight.
I had to go out for a write-in so I had a special photo session with the girls instead of the usual background. I hope you'll like it.

Here is the video

And here are some pictures
