Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 179

Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything. Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest thing to handle.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week

I wasn’t convinced. I knew that the wolves liked to stick to themselves, I had felt them in the forest, heard them even but they were never coming anywhere close to me.
“So you decided to marry a vampire to make an alliance?” I asked. I bit my lips almost straight away. Talking about the relationship between my parents was forbidden.
My mum sat up, her arms hugging herself as if in pain.
“Why do you want to drink blood and kill humans so much?” she asked.
I looked at the wall on the other side of the bed fixedly.
“It’s a part of who I am, it’s a part of what I want to be, it’s my heritage as a vampire,” I said.
“Even if it means that you might anger the humans and have them hunt you for centuries?” she asked.
“I don’t know,” I answered.
“Well you might want to think about it a little more before going to kill again,” she said standing up.
I listened to the curtain move when she walked away from me, her light steps barely resonating on the stone floor of the castle. She pulled the heavy door of my bedroom closed being her.

I finally turned around a looked at the ceiling. I knew what she was trying to do. She was trying to make me feel guilty for killing those two humans and as it didn’t work, she was trying to make me feel guilty for putting all vampire in danger. But the humans wouldn’t attack us so soon. They were to scared and they also wanted to be like us. Nobody wanted to die, every time they were bitten they wished to be reborn like one of us. We were their only hope for eternity. This is why I didn’t want to let anyone bite Sorina. I didn’t want her to feel the taste for eternity I wanted her to feel everything a human should feel just like I wanted for myself to feel everything a vampire and a wolf should feel. I couldn’t understand why it was so difficult for my mum to understand it. She wouldn’t give up the human part in her but she was still running like a wolf during the day when the vampires where sleeping and when nobody would punish her for it.

Thursday Fiction 173: Parallel Slip

Welcome back to a new part of Parallel Slip, where we follow the adventures of Frederique through her slip in different parallel universes.

Let's start right where we left off last week.

"You want them to go after Tucker," Fanny asked.
I shook my head. As much as I wanted to say yes for what he did to her, I couldn't say it as captain and I couldn't say it because even if I was taking her side, even if I had decided to go to Antares, I didn't know enough in this world to foment an assassination.
"Tell me more about what happened between him and the pilot"
"She assured him that there was a possibility to take over the ship and to minimize loses by doing away with the second engine. There are very few pilots trained for that sort of driving, it goes only for special mission pilots who have to go through places where there ships are turned into pieces."
"But the girls can do that," I said.
"Exactly, now they'll have to get to the girls, or they'll take over while they sleep," Fanny said.
"They don't sleep," I said.
Fanny offered me a smile.
"We can't push the engine to go to Antares, in this state, it will be difficult to get there and we'll take twice longer."
"Can you do something about it?"

Wednesday Snippet 176: Blue Angel

Welcome to a new part of Blue Angel unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

“Leave him alone, you're hurting him,” Samira said trying to get pass her.
“Watchers need to learn to behave if they want to be welcomed here,” Azazel said with disgust in his voice releasing Taram.
The demon stood up in a hurry and stood by Samira massaging his wrist.
Azazel took Evalynn by the arm to lead her away. Taram was fulminating, it was the first time in his life that someone had treated him this way, a large ball of boiling water formed slowly in his hand as his hair begun to rise on his head. He was about to throw it on Azazel's back when a shiver pass threw his entire body, the water disappeared as dispersing in the air, it wasn't even steam, it was more volatile than that as if the molecules of the liquid themselves had been dispersed.
“You better stop that kid,” Seti said coming in his back. “We are not in your house with daddy looking after you, here.”
Samira looked at her brother for a second and turned her head away as if she couldn't even bear to see him.

Isul Eder, Sample Doll Review (with video)

Today, I'm reviewing Isul Eder from the Eder/Alpin duo.
I got him at the sample sale in Yokohama during the Pullip anniversary event.

You can go check all the videos of that day here:
Part 1 (walk with me in the museum)
Part 2 all the pullip expo pictures
Part 3 (permanent expo)

Eder is really cute and one of the rare Isul with long hair. I think another one is Romantic King but they didn't make many long hair boys so far.
He is wearing a sort of traditional outfit from probably somewhere in Europe, in the Alps. He has a nice healthy looking face up. And he comes with 3 top pieces so you can variate the way he wears his outfit a little bit.

Quote: Let's open our hand and breath the air of the Alps because it can clear our hearts. Situation like so...

Here is the video

And here are some pictures
