Sample doll Opening and Review: Pullip Canele (with video)

It's time for a new review video of one of my sample doll. I got this one at the Doll Show 48, on Groove's booth. If you missed the doll show video you can check it here.

I have to admit that I was really not expecting to find her since she had never showed up at a sample sale before and I got a little bit confused about who I was still missing. Was it her? Or was it her twin sister Varele? On a sort of leap of faith, I decided that it was her and I wasn't mistaken.

This time, I don't have any candy to fly around for the review though, sorry about that guys.
Canele always reminds me of Cinnamon since in French, Cannelle means Cinnamon and I would guess it's pronounced exactly the same, at least, that's how I say it. Canele is a pretty nice doll. She is from December 2013 and the Carnival Doll recolored counterpart twin sister of pullip Varele. There is however a little change in the fabric of the doll, since Varele is using polka dots fabric where Canele uses red and white strips.
I like the way she is design to have an old merry-go-round carousel sort of feeling with the horses drawn everywhere on the green fabric of her outfit. Her hat is like a small carnival tent on the top of her head and she looks like a sort of sweet candy packaging. It's sure that a lot of thoughts were put into this doll. She has a lot of little details including a curved hand allowing her to carry her sceptre.

I wish we could get more of this fancy special hands to have fun with our pullips during photo sessions.

Sample doll review: La Robe Vert Blue Royale (with video)

Let's start a little series of reviews of the Sample Dolls I got from Groove at the doll show 48. I got five dolls that time around.

Today's I'm reviewing pullip La robe Vert Bleu Royale since she decided to get out of her bag all by herself during the reveal video.

La robe Vert Blue Royale is a collaboration doll between Groove, Baby he Stars Shine Bright and Fukasawa Midori from the end of 2015. She is also a recoloration of pullip La Robe Vert Clair who came out in 2014.

I was really attracted to this version when she came out, a lot more than by the original. I think the color scheme suit her really well. she has a really natural looking face up with barely any blushing, brown eye shadow and light pink lips. She also has a nice short wig with curled hair. That type of curled hair is generally seen on longer wigs so it's a very nice change. Of course, she is wearing a Royal blue colored dress incremented with beige and golden ribbons. I really like the color combination on her outfit that gives her a Royal side, especially that she comes with a little crone on top of her head. 

Her quote is: To wear a noble color of dress on an important day... Lets serve it more elegantly... A wonderful dress makes me a lady... Feel Like So.

Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 112

Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

If he was to roast in the red fire then so be it, it was the brightest future he had seen so far. He wanted to see the outside but he also knew that there was nothing for him over there. The hunters were protecting him and keeping him alive because he had some value to them, if he was going out, there would be nothing to stop the demon laws to fall on him. He could see the future but except for that he was a really weak demons, they hadn’t let him take the test for his powers to arise when he was of age, they had injecting him with drug inhibiting the development of that period until it was too late. He didn’t have any powers usual demons would have, in the outside just like here he would be unable to protect himself but at least here, he knew the rules. He was like a women beaten by her husband who would still go home every day just because she knew where it was and anything unknown felt scary. He didn’t have any fear left but he was still scared of the unknown even though there was supposedly nothing unknown to him, the future was just a set of parameters that he was trying to play with.

He just looked at Yue and smiled, opening his lips to show all his white teeth, that smile was looking insane even more as the scare on his face seemed to increase the aperture of his mouth to an insane extend, it seemed to be a very painful smile to wear.

“But nobody will kill the witch”, Yue said.

“Why not?” Torsti answered.

“Because I said so”, Yue answered.

“That’s not a reason good enough”, Torsti answered.

He was playing with his hammer turning the stick of it in his hands in circle making light coming from the ground where the head was stroking the rocks on the grounds. He was looking at Yue intensely.

Azone Excute Box opening and Review: Aoto Winter Gymnasium (with video)

As you can't get Yuta without Aoto... here we go.

I know that a lot of people tend to prefer Yuta but I'm sort of an Aoto girl. Maybe because Aoto was in fact my first Azone pureneemo doll, in his rabbit mad hatter glory.

I found his version of him second hand on amazon Japan. I went to check for him as soon as I found Yuta on yahoo auction and bought him jst after winner the auction so I was sure to have the two of them as a pair. Personally, I hate it when I get only one doll in the series and I have to look for the rest of them forever, it takes way too much brain space for my liking.

Anyway, I got him and he is absolutely adorable. At first I thought that being older released, they wouldn't be as detailed as the newer version but I was mistaken, these dolls are made with the same care. The only real difference is in the body range of motion, for example they can't put their arms away from their body horizontally.

The nice thing about this version of the boys is that they look much younger than the mad hatter boys that I had before so now I can take different kind of pictures with different age range.
