Pullip doll: Isul Classical Mad Hatter

En français
Here are some pictures of Isul Classical Mad Hatter.
Have you ever tried to put a doll in a card castle? I can assure you the result can be dreadful and frustrating and card castle don't survive giant millipede either. I first prepared a checkerboard with the cards and after I built the castle. I never managed to do more than two floors up. After that, I put Isul and millipede and all the cards fell once again. In the end I got tired and I just took the last pictures without worrying about the castle.
I love my Isul Mad Hatter though. He has really beautiful eyes and a very sophisticated outfit.

WeWriWar 133: Rainbow Catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery.

We start just where we left off last week.

“You are early,” Jason said.
“I had a hole in my schedule, you have the money?” he said again, wiping his sweaty forehead with his red tie.

Once again he looked as if he had been running ten miles under both sun before arriving.
“It’s on the table,” Jason said with a gesture of the hand inviting the fat man to look at it.
The fat man sat at the table and opened the bag smiling, he started counting.

Jason took the rainbow cold box.
“This is heavy and brand new,” he said checking the temperature.

Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 47

Have you been bitten yet?
Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advices of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German. Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week.

Sorina woke up as the cold water hit her face. She huddled up trying to protect herself from the vampires standing in from of her.
“Stand in front of the master”, the old servant beat her with a stick and she huddled up even more. Despite her young age she despised him and she would never got up for him even if she could which was not the case anyway.
He beat her again, as if that was pleasurable until the one he had called the master pushed him disdainfully away.
“Where is he?” the master asked. He had tried anything to make her talk and she was sure that she would have talked by now if she had known but she didn’t know, she was just hoping that he was safe. And as far as they were still asking her about him, she knew he was. She didn’t even answered or looked at him, whatever she might say wouldn’t have change anything. Her life had gone with him. Everybody she ever knew and loved were dead and he had escape. The only reason why she was still breathing was because she knew that he would come back for her.
“It has been three weeks already, that’s a very long time for a human, you are getting old already”, the vampire added.
She knew that already, that she would grow old while he would still be young but that didn’t matter. He told her that his mum was different and that it was alright.
Apparently not all the member of his family agreed to it.
She didn’t look at him, concentrating on breathing, in and out, that was like a circle that she started to follow as soon as she knew that the pain was coming for her. That was at least helping her to resist yelling during the first moments, only having tears rolling on her already wet cheeks. She wasn’t listening to him but she could still hear his voice.
“You still think that he will come back for you, don’t you? You really think that you are that important to him. If you really were he wouldn’t have left without you. You see he has really bad blood running in his veins and nothing could change that. He is a traitor, he betrayed us and he betrayed you as well”, the vampire said. He cleared his throat as if it had been painful for him to speak so long.
He made a sign to the old servant to take the girl away. It was like that every day. He was coming, telling her how bad Viorel was, trying to break her mind and the little faith she had left. And then he was going upstairs to observe his servants taking care of her body. They were good servant, even crueller than he could have been and she could see the rejoiced grins on their faces as they beat her and pull on her members and dig needles under her nails until she bleed. In the end there was so much pain that she didn’t feel the pain. She didn’t know where her body started and finished, it was not her body anymore. Nothing belonged to her anymore except her thought. That was the only things that could still be fully hers and that’s what she was giving everything to preserve them for the mental torture the vampire was putting her through. They wanted him and they only had her and she was paying the price of not being him, if he had died she would have died too but he was alive somewhere and so they would maintain her alive too.

Thursday Taster 73: Parallel Slip

Hello and welcome to a new Thursday Taster, the day when awesome writers all over the blogosphere come together to give you tasty bits of their last fiction. You can find the list here.
My dad helped me prepare the room, put my things on the shelves, do the bed, hang up the curtains that were going way to high for me to reach. My mother sat at the desk. I filled the form and turned out the water tape once the water was finally clear. My introduction was not before the afternoon.
"Let's go for lunch," my father said happily.
I didn't understand where he could find the strength to be happy around her. I was terrified of blacking out in front of my mother and I was restless. I had to do something to keep my mind away from any other universe while still trying to remember my conversation with the girl as I didn't have time to write it down yet. It was hell and I wasn't hungry.
"Sure," I said with a smile, "We could check out the supermarket at the same time, I read that it's cheaper to cook your own meals then to get your food from the university restaurant."
"You don't know how to cook," my mother said.
"Sabine taught me," I answered.
That was a blow and I knew it. My mother never forgave my father for living, which was the reason why she hated having him around me, and she also hated the fact that he was happily remarried while she was still single. Of course, she had had several relationships over the ten years since the divorce, but they had never lasted too long. I hated the guys every single time but they never left because of me disliking them, but mostly because of my mother being so controlling and always putting the hospital in front of everything. Also she was terrible at picking up guys. So somehow, Sabine was the main enemy and one more reason was that her son didn't have any health problem, Jonas was perfect.
"I always thought she wasn't too bright," my mother answered.
"Just leave my wife out of this," my father answered.
"She put my daughter's life in danger by letting her play with knifes and fire while she could faint any time and hurt herself," my mother answered.
I had a feeling that lunch wasn't going to be so peaceful.
"When Frederique is at your house, she does what you want her to do, under my care whatever happens to her is not your problem," my father said.
"And what would people say about me if I leave my child in the cares of incompetent morons," my mother answered, "because you left your responsibilities to get a trophy wife doesn't mean that I have to suffer of the consequences."
"Is it all you care about? What others are going to say about you? Do you want to know why I left you and I am still with Sabine? Because contrarily to you, she cares about something else than her reputation," my father said.
