Welcome back to Wednesday Snippet. This week, we continue with Fairy World unedited just where we left off last week.
"But he is with
her," Amarelis continued, "Can she... Is he easily
controllable?"
Deborah sighed.
"If we don't hurry,
my queen, you won't have a country of reign on, that's all I'll say."
"Humans can't be
that powerful," Amarelis answered.
"I never said Yue
was a human," Deborah answered.
"The demons are
back?"
"Back? I don't know
about Yue coming here before but personally I would stay as far away
as possible from anywhere with demons if I were you," Deborah
said. "They are bad news."
"But he is still
your friend, that Yue," Amarelis said.
"It's complicated,"
Deborah answered.
And here finishes this little part with Amarelis and Deborah. Next week we'll follow different characters.

Welcome to Tuesday Travel. This week we are following Brownie on her journey as she is going toward the second element: Earth.
About Witch Raising.
Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as
the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing
Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being
centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows
Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has
been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult
situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy
with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to
keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.
The excerpt starts right where we left off last week.
The
only other life she was dealing with were her past lives and that was
more than enough. Thought there was a certain appeal to a novel, at
least the story stopped and with it the madness stopped when you
reached the last page. And most of the time, you knew the characters
were going to be all right. In real life though, there was no
guaranty anything was going to turn out well. Especially for her when
demons were involved though curiously there were no demons on this
train.
Margarethe
threw her husband a stern look and turned back to Brownie.
“So
what do you want to do... after high school?”
Brownie
wasn't too sure how to answer that question. Once upon a time, she
had known without a doubt but now things were so different.
“I
want to be a fashion designer, I supposed,” she said.

Hello mystery lovers and welcome to a new Mystery Monday. I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to Harajuku Kiss.
She gave me a dark stare,
I didn't care. As long as we were talking about our boyfriends,
they was going to be daggers flying between us.
“What you need is
respect for yourself. You can't get that with junk food and you can't
get that with taking on the first boy that comes to you,” she said.
“Because you had to
chose between so many guys and after months of trying, you decided on
Toshio as the best candidate to build your happy ever after? Don't
make me laugh Christa. You'll be allowed to tell me what to eat when
you have the body I'm aiming at, and you'll be allowed to tell me
what sort of relationship is good for me when you'd have a boyfriend
for more than three month.”
At
times, life can be so depressing. She is walking her usual recovery
tour in Harajuku, finishing with a crepe, tying to forget that her
boyfriend dumped her once again for the week-end... When the unthinkable
happens... A boy stops in front of her in the street and kisses her, in
to discover more about him, she is dragged into a dangerous game of
mystery. A biologist has been murdered and a deadly virus is on the
loose. First suspect: the mysterious Harajuku's stranger.
Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?
Summary of the previous episodes:
Viorel has been tortured by his
supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely
enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of
who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left
Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a
previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The
little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole
and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but
nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi)
taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my
holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would
like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still
managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady
before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of
persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a
deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got
some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were
he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg
instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit
scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a
horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people,
he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to
enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a
feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain. We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape. Viorel
dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything.
Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued
by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was
looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's
agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other
side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel
discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest
thing to handle. After finding out that a younger version of Nicolas
might not be acting with his best interest at heart, Viorel decides to
leave for the north. He is now traveling with two people, Alexej who
needed to get out of Praha and Irina who he accidentally rescued.
Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left off last time.
"That's too bad, poisoning your own people," I answered.
"You were the one
killing him," Jorge said.
"I left enough blood
in him to make sure he wouldn't have the slightest heart failure, his
blood was tasty and I wanted to ask him what he had done to make it
that way," I said.
"His blood had
nothing special," Jorge said.
"Special herbal
treatment, pre-christian, if I recall," I said. "You are
Christian priest so I wondered why..."
"Get started,"
Jorge said.
He was obviously not
comfortable to talk about the herbal cocktail in the boy's blood.
Sorcery was forbidden, even for the Jäger, they were still
Christian. I was so troubled by what was going on here.
"Oh, I hit a
sensitive cord it seems, I'm sorry," I said. "I have this
vision of Christians, you know, all about being nice and avoiding the
devil and burning it when it comes too close."
"So maybe you would
prefer it if we burned you," Jorge said.
"Well, you kept that
for the end, didn't you, tomorrow morning, at the mess, public
execution, that is going to be a terrific sight that they won't be
forgetting anytime soon."
"So, changing your
mind?" Jorge said.
