En français
The second amigurumi I made this Christmas was a panda for my friend Ally in the US. I choose to make her a panda because I know that she is a big fan of them.

Iceland : Snaefellsjökull, Grábrók, Hraunfossar
En français
The road to Snaefellsjökull is quite difficult, it's full of rocks and we are a bit scared for our poor little car. Hopefully we manage to go through the glacier without too many problems.
On the opposite side we visited a little cave called Sönghellir.
We then drive to Grábrók where we can see some old volcanoes.
We then decide to go visit Reykholt but we get a bit confuse.
We finally arrive at Hraunfossar which is a place with several waterfall coming from the river Hvíta and from the ground. A lava-tube cave Víðgelmir is close by.
In Icelandic, Hraunfossar means the Lava Falls. We also visited the lave field called Hallmundarhraun.
One of the waterfall is "Barnafoss", Children's Falls and here is the story related to it :
Once there lived a widow on the farm Hraunás. She was well off and among her possessions was the farm Norðurreykir in Hálsasveit. She had two children. They were quite young when this story took place. There came a time when evening services were to be held at Christmas at Gilsbakki. The Mistress of Hraunsás and all her folk, except the children, attended the service. The children were told to stay at home and play. The moon was shining and the weather was fine. When the people came home the children had disappeared. Their footsteps led to the stone arch over the river. Their mother had the arch destroyed, saying that no man would ever be allowed to cross the falls alive. She later donated to the Church at Reykholt the farm Norðurreykir, in memory of her children. (Kristleifur Þorsteinsson II (1972) Hvítá.276)
We finally go to Akranes for the night

Iceland : Dynjandi, North-West
En français
We went back to Flateyri in the morning and continued our way in the fjords until the fjord Dýrafjörður.
We took a small path to go and see Kaldbakur from where we have a magnificent view of the fjords. Sebastien said that we didn't see Greenland there but I'm pretty sure we did at some point.
We then went to the waterfall Dynjandi. While driving around the fjord Arnarfjörður we can already see them. In fact there is seven of them, Bæjarfoss, Hundafoss, Hrísvaðsfoss, Göngumannafoss, Strompgljúfrafoss, Hæstahjallafoss and my favorite of course Dynjandi.
We then take the road back to Stykkishólmur where we find a camping for the night.

JanNoWriMo challenge : "Attic Mirror" part 2
So let's go back to what is interesting us here : Attic Mirror. I really like that novel especially because it's really different of Demon Soul even if there are some common characters. I have completely different feeling while writing it, that's a great new experience.
When I was writing it, as I'm always participating to those writing challenges with friends, one of they told me about a really cool website called write or die. I'm using it in the kamikaze mode so it starts to eat my words if I stop typing for too long. I find it very helpful to help concentrate.
Since I started Demon Soul my average of word for 30mins was about 500. Using this new tool I discover that now it's more 800, sometimes close to 900 words. I hope I'll keep on improving.
Stats 8228 words written in three days so a total of 8228 words
