Amigurumi : Demon
En français
You probably remember the vampire and witch I made previously and that I gave my body patterns. Following the same model I made this adorable little demon.
He reminds me of Sahel a lot, so don't look at the wings color that would mean he is in pain according to the story. I can assure you that he is a really happy demon and like to play with his friends.

Iceland : North coast
En français
The next day, we drive along the fjord Eyjafjörður and saw the little cities of Dalvík and Ólafsfjórður as well as the islands Mmey and Drangey in the distance.
If you want to be a "Real Icelandic Man" you have to be able to swim naked to Drangey with a torch in your hand while singing the national anthem.
In that case, I'm glad I'm not a man and I'm glad I'm not an Icelandic one :P.
we then go to Grafarós to see Grafarkirkja, a small church from the 17th century.
We stop latter in a car park area to take a walk. We wanted to see the sea but we have the chance to meet some seal as well.
We finished our day in the campsite Daeli
Tomorrow we are going the start out trip in the North-west part of Iceland, also the most isolated part of the country, the one most tourist forgot.

Iceland : Goðafoss, Akureyri
En français
Happy new year everybody.
To start the new year, here is a little more of the Iceland travel.
On the way to Akureyri, we stopped to the waterfall Goðafoss.
It is called like that because when Christianity was declared the official religion in Iceland, the statue of the ancient gods were thrown in it.
We then follow the river Skjálfandafljót to go and see the waterfall Aldeyjarfoss but the road got to bad after a while wand we need to get back.
We arrive in the afternoon at Akureyri.
That's the first city we visited since the begining of the trip. After the big Europe tour, that's a change in our habits.

Iceland : Whales, Mývatn
En français
After breakfast it's time to go see the whales in the Arctic ocean, I'm so excited about it. Just writing about it makes me extremely excited again.
The night before there was a big storm so the sea was far from calm.
Our boat is called Sylvía, it's not a tiny boat but compare to the blue whales we are going to see it is. We were already dressed up with three trousers and I don't remember the count of top but the crew of the boat gave us a combination to wear on the top of it.
At the begining I wasn't really sure but after receiving my first wave, I really appreciated it. I was standing at the very front of the boat, trying to see the whales despite the big waves and the water that was coming to me.
Sebastien was a bit more in the back, completely green and cold and asking me if I was ok. Bet I was, I'm front Brittany, I didn't have time to feel the cold and the watter. :D
At the end of the trip, I got a little sick, I didn't have to look for the whales anymore, that's probably why.
In the end we saw some water jet and the back of a blue whales.
After changing our wet clothes we take out leave to Mývatn. That's a lake with several interesting things to see in the neighbourhood. I had hear that the fly there were unbearable, that's part of the name, Mý means midge. But we didn't see that much of them.
There we went to the lake Víti situated in an volcano's old crater, that was kind of cool. Again we were surprised by the color of the water. There we had a bit of snow. We took a walk in the snow at Leirhnjúkur around the volcanic hills.
On the way back we stop to Hrevir, also called Námafjall. We can see smoke going out of some small rocks and even boiling mud.
