Art Creator Expo! And Morris Gapachon Haul!

Last weekend was held in Seibu Shibuya the Art Creator Expo.

This Exposition gathered several artists creating characters. There was a lottery for particular goodies and a general sale.

I went there on the Sunday which was the second day of the event and a lot of the booths had their items already sold out. It was a great opportunity for people to interact with artists and to get some pictures.

A lot of those artists have characters in the VAG (Vinyl Artist Gacha). After touring the event, I went to the gachapon machines to get some of the latest releases on pre-sell. I especially wanted the Morris from the VAG series 20. They have 5 mini series for each VAG series and 3 of them for the VAG series 20 are of Hinatique's character, Morris. One of the mini series was already sold out but I managed to get some of the two others, including a complete Ghost Morris series. I also got my first Kinora.

Hinatique Expo at Ginza Loft (Morris, the cat with antlers) with video

Today I went to Loft in Ginza for the Hinatique exposition. Kaori Hinata, the creator of Morris, the cat with antlers is having a exposition of the Morris dolls, including a lottery to get the Morris with the yellow rain coat and a signing.
I went to get a big version of Morris. It was my first time participating in a lottery. It turned out that they almost had enough dolls for every body and I managed to get mine.
After that was the signing, Kaori signed my book and my Morris and we took a picture together.

Today at the Azone Store Akihabara: Photo Session Slide Show + Iris Collect Expo

Yesterday evening, I went to Akihabara on the way home to look for something for a friend and of course I stopped at the Azone store. I had a long day so there is no vlog parts in this video, no intro or conclusion, just a slide show of the pictures I took of the display there. 

On top of the normal display, they also have the Iris Collect expo with artist dolls on display.

All about PetWORKs event at Spiral, in Omotesando (with video)

Yesterday, I went to the PetWORKs event at Spiral in Omotesando, because my friend wanted me to get her one of the Momoko dolls they sold there.
The event started at 10am, people arriving before 10am could get a ticket and enter the event first at 10:50am then queue inside to choose their doll. It was a very long wait and I managed to get the doll only around noon.
Then I could take pictures of the petWORKs doll displayed. There was a part of PetWORKs history with dolls from 2008 until now. There were also life size Momoko and new and old dolls displayed as well as pink bears.
I managed to get one of the dolls she wanted for my friend, I will have a review of her later, and a pink plush bear for myself.

Tokyo Idoll Festival 2018 Day 2 (with video)

This is part 2 of idoll since it was over two days this time around. 

I was very happy because I could get the frog suits I missed on Saturday and get two dolls which I'll present to you in another video.

Tokyo Idoll Festival 2018 Day 1 (with video)

This time, idoll is going on over two days. Today was the first day and the second day is tomorrow. Today, I had to leave early because I was teaching English one hour away but I still managed to take a lot of pictures and to get some stands for my little wonder froggies. There was a lot of booth at the event, more than usual in the idoll side but a lot less in the hand art market side. Some of them will be present tomorrow again and there will also be new one. It wasn't very crowded because we are having a typhoon. Hopefully that will not stop me from going again tomorrow.

Vlog #89: Maki Exposition in Harajuku Cerise Store (with video)

Today, I'm going to the Maki Dreamin' Tiny Pets Illustration Exhibition Vol. 4!

This exposition is up until February 20th and takes place at the Cerise Store in Harajuku.

The whole store is like cuteness overload, and it smells super good, like you don't want to go out ever again because it smells so good.

I went there and met with the artist, which was really cool and I could talk and I took pictures of my dolls at the expo with their respective design which was really cool.

I also got some card and Maki signed one.

While I was in Harajuku I took the opportunity to get some new hats for Hibarichan, she is now a flower or an eggplant.

I also went for a little haul at the big DAISO.
