About Witch Raising.
Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as
the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing
Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being
centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows
Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has
been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult
situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy
with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to
keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.
The excerpt starts right where we left off last week.
“It's fiiiiiine,” she said. “Trust me, he isn't waking up until I say so.”
Brownie went back up in the train to get the man's leg outside one by one. He was kicking but he calmed down every time Daphy yawned. It was really bizarre but he lay down near the train in the dust and dirt bellow.
“You better lock the door, I don't want the demons to get in,” Brownie said.
“Alright,” Daphy pulled on the door but it seemed to be stuck.
“What's happening?”
“Well, I'm good at opening door but not so much at closing them,” Daphy said. “When I arrived I entered through a window.”
“What?” Brownie said.
“Never mind, just help me pull on it, it's super heavy.”
