Hello mystery lovers and welcome to a new Mystery Monday.
I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at
the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to
Harajuku Kiss.
We start right were we left off last week:
We all looked at her puzzled. She turned one mirror by ten degrees very carefully, pressed the on button and took out a box of matches. Instead of using the intra-red card to see the laser, she placed the red tip of a match right in the field. It lit up.
“See what I mean? Fire is way further from plasma than what these kids used to have.”
She shook her hand and threw the match on the floor. Our instructor held a infra red card to her.
“We do not use matches in France anymore,” he said.
“Maybe you should.”
She pushed the mirror in front of her by a few more degrees and started to give us some instructions. It was more precise than in the manual, as if she had memorize all the angles necessary for the path of the laser.
We didn't use the infrared card even once. When she asked me to hit the on button, our instructor smirked, ready for the laser to fail at making a plasma. But it didn't, the plasma appeared.
“So now, I guess you can write your report,” Anna said. “Let see what the other group has.”
And she had walked away before I could say thank you.
