Thursday Fiction 412: Parallel Slip 2: Rebel

Welcome back to a new Thursday Fiction, it's been a while. We continue with Parallel Slip 2: Rebel where we left of last time, following Isabelle as she figure out who she really is.

But once, she did, once she truly believed that her mother was right about everything. It made her tried harder and slowly lose confidence as she was never good enough and then she snapped.

It had to happen, she couldn't keep going that way. It had been easy not to think for herself for a while but she had to see things through her own eyes and those things weren't right. The favoritism, the unfairness, the never ending wrong doing on her side. It was impossible even for someone very terrible to be always wrong.

Even in books, the villains were bad but they had some reasoning behind it, they had some purpose and sometimes it did make sense.

For her family nothing she did ever made sense.

What was she supposed to do last night, let her nose bleed to listen to her mother?

Let that thing inside of her continue to run in her body and do who knew what and tell her mother which universes she visited? It was illogical. Maybe removing the tracker before time was a bad thing but from her point of view keeping it in was even worse.
