Welcome to Tuesday Travel. This week we are following Brownie on her journey as she is going toward the second element: Earth.
Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.
Brownie was done with the staring contest. She moved to her left to open the cabin's door which slid violently to the side, grabbed the handle of Daphy's suitcase and threw it out. The suit case hit the wall opposite and clicked open spreading half the content in the corridor.
“Why did you do that for?”
Daphy pushed Brownie out of the way and went out in the corridor after her suitcase. Brownie was amazed at herself for just gathering the guts to do that but even more at the content of the suitcase. It was all candles and wires, and glittering stones and pots of herbs. It was a witchcase more than a suitcase. Daphy was on the floor trying to gather everything back. Brownie felt a bit sorry for her.
“I think you better find another cabin,” she said before closing the door.
Brownie had been trying to read the same page for over half an hour. Her stomach was rambling with hunger but she didn't dare to open the door again.
Daphy had left with her suitcase a while ago, but Brownie was worried to find someone else in her compartment again if she was to leave it again. She shook her head and finally closed the book. There was no way she was going to get anything done right now between her thoughts and the hunger.
