WeWriWar 390: Sun Kiss 13

Hello everybody!

Welcome to a new Sunday of writing with Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday

You can find the snippet from the other participants in the blog hops in the Snippet Sunday facebook group and on the  Weekend Writing Warrior's blog.

This week, we are back right where we left off last time:

It was almost like a novel, betrayal, death, pain, torture, murder, traveling all over the world in the search for love and a lot of waiting to. There was something intriguing about the world of the vampires, about eternal life about having seen so much and knowing that you would see a lot more. All that time to do everything you wanted. Maybe if she had that much time to look forward to, Jane would stop running after the ideal self and trying to be her yesterday, maybe she would just live knowing that she could still do everything she wanted to do in the next century because she had that kind of freedom. But at the same time, never seeing the sun again, she wasn't sure. And all the non-human creatures in here, even the one with a little bit of something else, they were always in trouble one way or another. Jane didn't like trouble of that sort, the sort that could get you killed. She wanted to be brave and strong but deep down, she knew she was a bit of a coward who would rather watch everything dangerous on TV than actually participate.

  1. wow! As she's discovering, the fantasies that are fabulous to read are one thing, and reality is quite different.

  2. Well, I have to agree with Adriana; fantasies, and romantic notions about vampires, are not exactly what you expect, nor may want. Might be a little too late. Thanks for sharing.
