Welcome back to a new Thursday Fiction. We continue to follow Isabelle as she figure out who she really is.
How many systems would be flawed. Letting them continue wasn't a risk Isabelle's family was willing to take. So her mother, who was newly in charge deciding to be their best investor in exchange for full disclosure of whatever they found. That way, she had full control over their research and she could spot on any anomaly. Since she had paid too raid and shut down the research building, one with fire hazard that pushed them years back in their work but still they didn't abandoned. The organization was of course totally unaware of the traveling gene running in Isabelle's family. If they managed to figure it out, her mother would be at the biggest lost of all time. Sometimes, Isabelle dreamed of them figuring it all out and turning their back on her mother, but on the other hand, she was next in line for the succession and there was no way they would let her be. She would probably end up in some laboratory and used as a guinea pig and being injected with who knew what serum to check where she slipped too. So noway she was going to let them figure it out.
And she was sure Amy was one of them. She was passing as a eighteen years old too well in the way she dressed, but her body position was too stiff as if she had some sort of military training. And she had that look about her that wasn't to be trusted. If her mother was trying to force her on Isabelle again, Isabelle didn't know what she would do. There were still five days before her birthday and before she would be allowed to make her own decision and there were seven days left before the initiation, then she would be able to travel without a marker, she would plead allegiance to the alliance and she would have to obey there rules, always go to universes similar to yours, never meddle with universes that aren't part of the alliance unless you know their founder family and go for an introduction.
