Let's start right where we left off last week.
Alex finally hang up the
phone.
"They are mad cause
you hanged up on them so they won't be calling you back, you'll have
to do it."
"I won't," Amy
said.
"I know, and that's
cool with me. We just have too see how long they can keep that up,"
Alex said. "I still can't believe you hanged up on them."
"There is no way I
can have a conversation with them, they never let me talk. They just
yelled on how selfish and immature and stubborn I was and how they
always gave me everything and made sure I could have a decent
education and that I had to ruin it. I'm not ruining anything. I will
graduate, just I wanted something more. Is it so bad?"
Amy had tears in her hard
again. Alex came over and hugged her.
"It's not bad. And
I'm sorry I didn't ask earlier, so what are you going to study?"
Amy looked up at him and
swallowed.
"Astrobiology,"
she said with a light smile.
Alex started to laugh.
"That's different, I
should have expected that marine biology would never do for you, way
too wet."
"Hey," Amy
protested.
"Did you know it
took her forever to learn to swim because she didn't like the feeling
of the water on her skin?"
