Wednesday Snippet 158: Blue Angel (Midweek Tease)

Welcome to a new part of Blue Angel unedited, we start right where we left off last time. My Wednesday Snippet are now part of Midweek Tease and you can find the other writers' list here and at the end of the post.

The other hesitated a little but still came after him again. The wind was blowing in the corridor and Isakael regretted not to have packed his suitcase better. He had thought that if he didn't pack, he wouldn't have to go and just threw his clothes away in his back at the last minute. The other was silent. Isakael wondered why he had decided to stick with him. And then he remembered the spies, after all, he was the one with the most inside on the Nephilim. He hesitated and accelerated, trying to figure out if the other would follow. He did more than that, he stopped him by the arm. Isakael felt the tickling sensation at the back of his neck. If he didn't calm quickly, if he didn't get away from the other angel quickly, he knew that the other would notice that something was wrong with his wings. He couldn't let that happen.

“Come on, don't be like that, I know stuff, you know stuff, we share and we climb the ladder at the council. You never took the opportunity, you are always listening but you can be out best chance in the name of god.” The other said.

It would have been more than appealing to any other angel, being the best chance in the name of god, he would have gain power in this world but the smile on the other face had something not reassuring at all.

“I'm sorry but I live with humans in the human world, I don't know what is happening in the demon world,” Isakael said as innocently as he could. He had never been good at lying, angels weren't any good at lying which was the reason why most of their spy had probably gone missing, that and their incredibly white feathered wings.
