“So tell me what’s happening in the Fairy World,” she said to change topic.
She didn’t really like to see him look at the sky where her white knight was coming from, he had disappeared so suddenly that she was sure he was still nearby looking at her to make sure she was alright. The thought made her feel safe, but she didn’t want Kelpie to know anything, she knew how he would react with his sick jealousy; he would try to scare her white knight away.
“Well, they are still talking about your wedding with prince Kordelius. Did I ever tell you how ugly he looks?” Kelpie started.

A wedding? Uh-oh! This doesn't seem like it's going to bode well for poor Seti's heart.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, another love interest for her? Poor thing.
ReplyDeleteBoy--he's pushing hard when he asks her if he ever told her how ugly her prince looks! Good snippet, Linda :-)
ReplyDeleteInteresting she can sense that Seti is still watching over her. And wow, that last sentence about the wedding - a new bombshell to keep us intrigued! Great snippet...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this snippet, your character's are playing some intriguing games!
ReplyDeleteKelpie certainly does sound jealous. Hope everything works out for all of them. And good luck on your undersea adventure!
ReplyDeleteUgly? Makes her feel weird hearing such a word. OMG! Good eight!
ReplyDeleteShe's marrying an ugly prince? That's not good.
ReplyDeleteKelpie is not exactly subtle.
ReplyDeleteInteresting as usual.
ReplyDeleteKelpie definitely feels the other presence, the knight. His flippancy about the potential groom's looks sounds like he is trying to rile her. Intriguing.
ReplyDeleteKelpie sounds... helpful. o_O
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to more about this wedding. Nice twist.
ReplyDeleteWow, Kelpie just puts it out there ;) Intriguing 8.
