Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 59

Welcome to a new part Demon World unedited. We start right where we left of last time.

They obeyed, running as fast as they could out of the room like three rabbits trying to escape the dogs during a hunting party. The little ugly green creatures didn’t make a move to stop them, they counted of being finished with what they came here for before the cavalry arrives.
“So what do you want?” Brownie asked. She was losing patience. She wanted to be rid of them as soon as possible. She knew that some demons were supposed to come for her, she had seen it in her exploration, she just hadn’t expected them to be one of those. She wondered what they were called but didn’t bother to ask.
“It’s really easy actually. You see there is this hole at the top of your chimney. It was hard to reopen after what you had done to it but we finally managed. We didn’t think we would find you so easily, really, you could have been cautious and moved out with your little friend the demon or something like that, I mean if I had been you that’s probably what I would have done. He made a really big mess in the demon World. You started it but that is another story. He joined the bad group of people, made the wrong friends, you know what I mean, it’s really difficult to control someone who doesn’t have the right ideas installed in his mind at the very first step of his childhood. Not that you did a bad job raising him or anything but you didn’t have much time anyway and it’s not like you are so knowledgeable about demons either or our history or costumes or magick or anything really. It might have been really hard for you, I mean raising a demon is a demon problem not a human problem even though you are not the basic human girl also, I can see that but still…” the little green demon started, he was talking and talking and wasn’t getting to the point, Brownie was trying to follow his train of thoughts but it seemed to be more difficult than expected. She was losing patience more and more at every sentences, it seemed that it was trying to buy himself or his companion sometimes but she wasn’t noticing what the other one was doing.
She finally interrupted him.
“Come to the point, what are you doing here?” she said.
“That’s what I’m trying to explain to you, you know it’s not so easy to explain that I want to come back here after being already kicked out last time and it was so difficult to come here, it took us months and we didn’t even know if we were going to be able to find you anyway. I mean I’m glad I didn’t bet on you being here again because I would have lost. You probably thought you had won last time or when he made a mess at the school with his little friends the Nephilim, can you imagine that some Watchers joined them. “We are trying to protect our kids” that’s the excuse they dared to tell, I really can’t see what protection had to do with it, I mean if there is a traitor in the rank, eliminating him was the safest way to go about things but seriously I can’t even believe it, it’s like a bear with a pig, you know what I mean, all cuddly and disgusting when it should just be eating it”, he said.
Brownie wondered how he wasn’t getting out of breath, she was almost getting out of breath just listening to it but she was even more getting annoyed.
“Get to the point now or I’ll give you another flying lesson”, she said menacing. It didn’t seem to have a message. She wondered what it was actually waiting for.
