Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 127

Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

Most of the time he was hungry after church and his mother wouldn’t stop talking and talking about the neighbor to someone then about that someone to the next person and so on until everyone from the village had finally been gossiped about. Didn’t they know that, didn’t they know that no one in here had ever been trustful with anyone else? And today was the result of it. They weren’t going to church to pray to god, they were going there because of their own sinful behavior that had lead the best of them to the end of the devil. They were finally, all of them showing their true colors and their own madness. He looked at them all entering the church and then he heard the clamors as the girls were brought before them. It wasn’t sympathizing words, even though their own daughters were to be judge, it was words of folly.
He had tried to save them. He had waited days and night near the prison to be able to see them, only hearing their cries of despair as they were tortured. He had waited until finally one evening, thee door hadn’t been locked properly. The guardians had been brought some wine and most of them were shouting in the street some of them sleeping on the prison’s floor and chairs. He had sneaked in, he had found the keys, he had walked in and almost opened her door but that was the moment when he had been caught. There was only one of them that he wanted to same. Of course he would have liberated all of them but there was one for whom he had planned everything carefully once she was to get out, one that didn’t deserve to die, one that he couldn’t live without. He had turned around feeling a heavy hand on his shoulder and he was there, the same he had seen in his dreams so many times, the one he thought he had killed, the priest. The priest was smiling gently but that wouldn’t hide his hideous heart to Sahel’s eyes. He took him away from the door without a word and too the keys out of his hand. He was strong, so strong, Sahel couldn’t move or defend himself. He threw him on the ground of the next cell.
“Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of your little girlfriend”, he said.
Sahel knocked at the door with hand fist again and again until all sensation disappeared from his hand. It was morning by then, she had finished yelling out of pain on the other side of the wall and Sahel had felt on his knees crying. He was so helpless that he couldn’t even bear himself anymore.

Nendoroid Box Opening and Review: Yuki Miku Magical Snow Ver. (with video)

Today I decided to open my Yuki Miku Magical Snow version. She is the winter miku nendoroid from 2014.
She comes with books and a magical stuff and a special stand that make her look like she is levitating. She also comes with Yukine, her little rabbit and the rabbit has a second body attach to one of her extra arm so htat she can carry him around.
In her box that also looks like a book, there is a list of the Yuki Miku made from 2010. Since 2012, the Snow Miku have been created and voted upon by the public. I think this year's vote is not yet over.

Here is the video

And here are some pictures

WeWriWar 210: Rainbow catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday.

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last week.

It was as if he had known all along that Jason could do it. And he did it. He didn’t turn around to ask Markus if he was ready, he pressed the button with his right thumb and the moon catcher took care of the rest.
He could see it clearly, the road in front of him had disappear transformed into lines and he knew exactly what to do each time the lines broke putting a car or a turn in his trajectory. It was easy. Riding with the moon catcher was easier than walking or even breathing. Jason didn’t want to stop but Markus was knocking at his back repeatedly. He pushed the button against his will once more wondering how far from Green Sun Valley they had gone.

Vampire Friday: Vampire Heart 125

Welcome to a new part of Vampire Heart unedited. Have you been bitten yet?
Sign up to be part of our awesome Vampire Friday blog hop team! You know you want to!

Summary of the previous episodes: Viorel has been tortured by his supposed family who wanted to have him burn in the sun. Strangely enough the sun didn't burn him as expected but Viorel has no memory of who he is. Following the advises of his supposed father, he left Sighișoara and is now traveling to the West. After some skirmish in a previous city, he found refuge on a boat. Viorel is now in Vienna. The little problem is that the guy at the inn was a bit of an asshole and helped capture Viorel thinking he was a vampire, which he is but nobody needs to know. Now there is a huge man (which I call the colossi) taking care of Viorel and a priest. They brought a girl. Torture my holy water... Fail. Viorel managed to confuse everyone, now he would like to get out of here. But the girl seems pretty useless. They still managed to escape and he left the girl to the care of the boat lady before going back to have two words with his captors but his power of persuasion were failing him. The priest wanted to crack a deal but Viorel is not really up to help his enemies. He finally got some blood but he can't risk to stay in Vienna. He travel to Linz were he stays a bit to learn German.
Viorel wanted to go to Praha but redirect himself toward Augsburg instead where he wants to get a horse, except that the horses are a bit scared of his vampirism and maybe something else. Viorel is really not a horse expert. Then he comes into an altercation with couple of people, he wants some fear in his blood. The girl Viorel has found seemed to enjoy the game. Viorel prepares for the nightmares that come with a feast of blood, in a rush to leave, he cross the dukedom of Lorrain.
We introduced Sorina, three weeks after the beginning of Viorel's escape.
Viorel dreamed of Sorina and woke up not really remembering anything. Traveling to Paris, he arrives at "La cour des miracles". He is rescued by a stranger who turned out to be Nicolas Flamel, the alchemist he was looking for. Nicolas does some strange experiment without Viorel's agreement. Some people are looking for Nicolas's secrets. On the other side of Europe, Sorina awakes and Viorel's past in haunting him. Viorel discovered that he can change into a wolf but that's not the easiest thing to handle.

Now, let's continue with Vampire Heart, right where we left of last week

On this side are the body that should be taken away soon, have been there for week poor folks nobody want them”, he said showing the left doors with his hand. “I got some guys to move them around, not that they might the décor too much.” He had that strange laugh again.
I didn’t like the man, I found his disrespect really hard to bear with and if he hadn’t been that fat and death sticking I might have come back to bite him during the night.
Here are the kids, that’s not pretty either if you ask me, most of the parents can’t even afford burial at that age, it’s such a shame. I mean little girls in white angel dresses are better looking when they go out in the sun.” he said waving his hand to the right.
Where are the case investigated by the police?” Nicolas asked.
I could feel the same impatience in his voice than what I was feeling. I wanted out of there.
You know the most curious thing about those”, the fat man said, “it’s that two of them got missing while I was away and nobody signed the register or paid the fees, all we have is a window broken. The guy who took them knew his business for sure, we don’t even have broken glass in the room.”
Nicolas gave me an understanding look. It was what I had feared, the vampires had breed some offspring and there were newborn vampires in the loose. No glass window was enough to hold a vampire in, not even with iron bars on. The fat man took some more time to look for the key. At first I thought he was counting them but then he went to move them backward on the key chain and he seemed to be singing some sort of melody. I didn’t understand the strange Czech rhythm of it. He finally opened the door. Nicolas walked straight to the body and I walked to the window. The glass had been replaced but the iron bars were still torn inward. They were small but large enough for a vampire average body to feel through. The bottom of then was at ground level on the other side and there were still some marks of someone sliding out on the grass. They weren’t so much light getting in, at least not enough to hit the body directly and burn a vampire skin.
I wouldn’t go too close of the body if I were you, just a precaution”, I said.
Nicolas noted and pulled the first dirty white sheet away from the first man’s face. The fat man laughed again.
It’s not like they are going to stand up anytime soon, or do you think they carry diseases?” he asked.
I decided to ignore him and came close to Nicolas to look at the first body.
This one is safe”, I said. It was one of the robbers I had seen last night, as dry as a piece of wood near a winter chimney.
What are you looking for exactly?” The fat man said as I took away the sheet on two more bodies.
He was getting suspicious and I could understand why but I wasn’t going to answer to him. I examined the marks on the victims’ neck. There were two small in diameter but very deep holes. The holes were clear, there were two blue circle due to the sucking around them, the last vestige of blood even flowing in the bodies before there death. I examined the lips and the nails as well. They were totally white.
Safe”, I said again.
Are you sure?” Nicolas asked.
