Doll Show 48 photos video

Today, I went to the Doll Show 48. I went there really early to be able to get my Yuzuha Happy New Year so that now I have the pair. I wanted to see the next Otogi no Kuni dolls but unfornately, azone didn't announce any. They announced the new Kikipop who look like little boys so I'm really happy about that and they also announced the new line of Sahra's a la mode which is truly too adorable to pass on.

I took way too many pictures so even though they are all present in the video, I made different albums on facebook to keep things tidier.

Part 1: Azone and Kikipop
Part 2: Fashion dolls (ruruko, momoko....)
Part 3: Blythe
Part 4: Pullip family

WeWriWar 190: Rainbow catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.
We start just where we left off last week.

Hunger pushed him to look in the fridge, he didn’t want to be a bad guest but decided that finishing his spaghettis left over from last night wasn’t too rude. He put them in the microwave and sat at the kitchen table eating, waiting for Markus to get up. He didn’t know how he would ride that old thing. First, he had never ridden a motorbike before, except when someone else was driving. Second, this thing was probably not running anyway, no matter how many moon catchers were inside and how much light was going out of them. Hopelessness stroke in and Jason considered leaving a note behind and going directly to the bus.
“You’re already up kid?” Markus’s voice made him jump out of his thoughts. It was too late to escape for the bus.

Vlog #62 Doll hunt fail! (with video)

After a discussion in a group about the Shibajuku girls, I decided to go to the nearest Toysrus and to check if they actually had the second generation of those dolls.
I wasn't really interested in the first series but the second series appealed a lot more to me.
The Shibajuku girls dolls were created in Australia by a mother and daughter trying to show the Harajuku style of fashion and the concept of the dolls is to be able to share hair accessories with them so they come with overly large hair accessories.
Unfortunately, it seems that these dolls can't be found in Japan.

Vlog #61 We got married! (with video)

In this video, I'm taking you through my marriage day at the city hall and celebration.
We don't have a huge wedding for obvious reasons stated in the video, but it was still quite an emotional day for me.
We are now married under the Japanese law and there are still a few more step to go through to get the marriage validated by France too. We started the papers last October so it took quite a while to get everything in order for the Japanese City Hall. It will take a few more months to have the French embassy validate the marriage and to get my Japanese visa status changed. But today is the official day when we got married!
