Vlog #56 Santachu, Pikaclaus and pureneemo box opening

We had a late start so we decided to stay at home. I took the opportunity to work on some projects, mostly knitting and to open some doll boxes.
I opened Azone's Alisa Afternoon Peach Tea and Maya White Kiss.
I think Alisa is a really summery girl with a her soft pink and beige colors while Maya is a lot more Christmasy in red and white with her ear muffs and scarf.
These two were a bit hard to get as they are from a few years back. Azone dolls are easier to get for a nice price during the pre-order after that the second hand price generally increases a lot. Maya White kiss is the very first Maya from 2010 and Alisa afternoon peach tea is an azone store limited from 2014.

Wednesday Snippet: Demon World 103

Welcome to a new part of Demon World unedited, we start right where we left off last time.

He grabbed the heavy set of keys at the entrance of the corridor and opened the first door. He carefully locked it behind him. He hated himself for doing that, he would have open all doors wide if he could but he had a priority and his priority was her. He walked to the seventh cell. He was counting in his mind and unlocked the door to enter. The cell was really dark, there was only a very small window near the high ceiling and the wall was so thick that the light could barely make it to the ground.

“Are you ok?” he asked.

“Is that you?” the voice of a girl answered, she seemed weak and Sahel’s other self noted that she seemed weaker than the last time he had come to visit.

“Yes”, he answered coming closer to her.

She put a kiss on his lips as he hugged her before pushing him away.

“You are going to get yourself killed”, she said with a voice that Sahel recognized as Brownie’s.

“I don’t care, I need you, I’ll get you out of here, tonight, the two of us are living the country and someone will come tomorrow to take care of your grandmother, she will join us later, there is no time, they want to speed up the process”, he said.

He seemed nervous, he looked around quietly and listen to make sure that there was nobody else around to listen.

Grail doll Review: Miku lol (with video)

It's finally time for a new doll review. I had a video box opening of Miku lol. I partially added it to this one but if you want to see the complete version please check it out here:

In this video I give you a review of Miku lol and all her stuff but also compare her to Hatsune Miku which was my first pullip in this series. I think Miku lol has a slightly more natural face up as she doesn't have the glossy lips Hatsune Miku has. Miku lol also had lighter hair, and eyes and her hair is also shorter. She is more the type to stay all day in her pajama with her bunny rabbit instead of going to singing on stage. I'm really happy to have her in my collection and to have the complete set of vocaloid dolls.

WeWriWar 185: Rainbow catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. 

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last week.

“Now is the most important part, the desert himself, but Gena knows more about it than me as she had been living there for many years, that’s where we met,” Markus said taking Gena’s hand over the table.

Jason looked at him wondering how Gena felt about him saying desert people were not trustable as she was one of them. But Gena didn’t seem to mind, or maybe she was already used to Markus's way of never trusting anyone.

“The first thing you have to remember is to protect your skin. In the desert, you will be closer to the suns than ever. And often close to both of them at the same time. Never take your shirt off, no matter how hot you feel and never show your skin to the suns they would bite you to death. You will need to use oil all the time, drink some too after water. The oil will stay on the inside of your throat and keep the water inside your cells as water and oil repulse each other.
