Wednesday Snippet 413: Fairy World 54

Welcome back to Wednesday Snippet. This week, we continue with Fairy World unedited just where we left off last week. 

 

"You'll never find her and the white queen will never allow you out until she gets Seth," one of the fairies said. "The new queen will only be in charge once Seth is gone, there is nothing you can do about that."

Azazel sighed.

"Well, I have a plan and I'll make it work with or without you."

He looked over at the side of the forest where the others had started to appear and pushed more on the ground to make the fairies next to them fall as well. They didn't know where to attack first and seemed confused but Azazel was getting tired keeping everybody in check. He was feeling weak, he was not hungry but he still needed to eat something.

"Sahel get the hell out here! What the heck are you waiting for?" He called.

Tuesday Travel 209: Witch Raising: The Book of Earth 56

Welcome to Tuesday Travel. This week we are following Brownie on her journey as she is going toward the second element: Earth.

 

 

About Witch Raising.

Witch Raising is a new series with Brownie, the heroine of Demon Soul as the main character. This series is part of the House at the Crossing Series and follows Demon Soul and Demon and Fairy but instead of being centered on the adventure of Sahel and his demon friends, it follows Brownie as she goes from being a normal girl to a bad ass witch. She has been practicing magick for a while now, saving people from difficult situations but the people at the house, including Sahel aren't happy with her new calling. Feeling that she doesn't have a choice and has to keep learning witchcraft, Brownie leaves to meet other witches.

The excerpt starts right where we left off last week.

“If you don't mind, I would like to have a look too.”

“Of course,” Henry said, “of course.”

He seemed a bit preoccupied so Brownie didn't say anything. Her mind was already jumping to conclusion, either it was karma catching up with her for all the crazy half baked spells she had cast, karma catching up with Daphy for the spells she had been using on the train with seemed a bit fast for karma. Or demons. And since every time there was trouble in her life there were demons involved, they had to have figure out she had left town now and the only possibility was to ride on the trains or buses. If the train stopped for too long, demons would catch up, unless they already had and were responsible for the boulder.

Following Henry was easy. He moved through the wagon with an important air, as if the place belonged to him. There was a sense of authority about him that Brownie had rarely seen before, especially in that sort of setting.

Mystery Monday 206: Murder at the Conference 103

Hello mystery lovers and welcome to a new Mystery Monday.
I hope you had a great week-end. Here is a new little part of Murder at the Conference. Murder at the Conference is a stand alone sequel to Harajuku Kiss.

We start right were we left off last week:

“All the poster are going to be white, except mine, guess where people's eyes are going to land first when they enter the room.” 

 

He laughed.

 

“I see.”

“I'm doing theory, we are the minority so we need little tricks to make people notice us,” I said.

“And this will work?”

“It works, it's a proven method, I get more hit than anyone every single time.”

“Really?”

“Well, it helps that I dry myself out by never leaving my poster for a second, not even for a drink.” I said laughing.

“Which one is Christa's?”

“She didn't want to give hers to me to carry because my poster carrier is not good enough for her,” I said.

“What?” 

 

I closed the tube and pulled on the string a little to the right and it reopened itself right back.

Normandie: Honfleur (with video)

Today we are going to Honfleur, a city in Normandy. I actually went there twice during this trip. First I went with friends and the second time I went with a tour from the conference I was at.

You can see that the video has two intro for the different day. The weather wasn't the same either.
