Trip to the Azone store: Special Taeyang and Dal 10th Anniversary, Ruruko event and Dioramas (with video)

The Groove Dal and Taeyang 10th Anniversary event started in Akihabara's Azone store on the 20th so I we were going out to the Snoopy museum (see Vlog #48) I decided to take the opportunity to stop by and check it out.

The Azone store as usual had their normal doll display, they changed a bit of it since the previous video to accomodate Halloween, the Groove event and the Ruruko event but nothing else.

There is a full wall of pullip, Groove had a lot of older Taeyang and Dal for sale at the store but most of them have been sold out. I wonder if they are going to get more soon.

The Special Anniversary dolls Taeyanf Albireo and Dal Deneb are there for sale too. I didn't get them as I already bought enough dolls for this month.

Then there was the Ruruko special event as Azone and Ruruko is getting 4 special dolls out really soon. I sort of like the excute but I think I'll prefer to have them in the original detective version.

Also because of the event, Azone had several diorama that could be used to take pictures of your dolls. I had Lipu and Erunoe with me so I just went ahead and put them everywhere on the diorama for a photo session.

Teaching myself piano: Day 9 (with video)

Today I started on Mio Nemico which is the first song at the beginning of the video. It's from the Fantagiaro TV series. It's a really beautiful song by Amedeo Mingi. Maybe I'll sing it some day.

I also looked at Hana's Eyes from Tonci Huljic which is not as difficult as I thought it would be but I'm still probably way over my head trying that. Still I would love to be able to play it nicely.

WeWriWar 178: Rainbow catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. 

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last week.

The waiting list for a free rainbow was so long and purple rainbows so rare that doctor Marshall had made it clear to him from the start: Clarissa had really few chances to make it. She was supposed to have only few month back then but she proved to be more resistant than expected. She was doing her relaxation exercise a lot more than necessary to make sure her heart would be waiting as long as it needed. And she was forcing Jason to do them too. She had read somewhere that right ventricular hypertrophy was common in the same family and said that it was hard enough to get one purple rainbow she didn’t want to think about getting two. So Jason had been doing the exercises as well.

But he was thinking that now she would have to do them alone and hoped that the stress of having him gone wasn’t going to accelerate the degradation of her heart. When Clarissa had started coughing blood few weeks ago, doctor Marshall had said that she didn’t have much time left.

Special Halloween Sample doll Opening and Review: Pullip Carmilla queen of the vampire! (with video)

Here is my last vampire for this Special Halloween Sample doll series.

She is Carmilla, the queen of the Vampire, better not to mess with her. She is the second vampire pullip release, the first being Elizabeth which I don't have but hope to get sometimes sound.

There are therefore 5 dolls in this vampire series, Elizabeth, Carmilla, Taeyang Nosferatu, Dal Ende and Byul Lilith.

Carmilla was the last released as she is a sort of re-release of Elizabeth. Seriously, I hoped for Daria and Drusilla, lol.

Anyway, Carmilla is a pretty awesome vampire. She comes with two type of fangs, the normal white one and the red bloody one.

And she also has a bird.

Her quote: my mind, the smell of blood of you who love the darkness of the jet-black Let’s continue wandering forever.
