Sample doll Opening and Review: Dal Loa (with video)

This Dal Loa is a sample doll who I got from the sample doll sale at the groove headquarter. She is part of the Roccoco series unfortunately, this series didn't come out quite as expected. In this video you can see the 6 dolls they created as prototypes. Only two of them came out, Dal Loa and Pullip Io and they were completely altered. Those dolls looks absolutely amazing so it's really a shame not to have them released for the public.

My Dal Loa is my only doll from this series as I have been looking for Io for ever but never managed to get her so far. She is a true little bird with her yellow feathers and her dress with a sort of bird tail at the back.

About the final music (from https://musopen.org ):  Menuet antique is a piece for solo piano by Maurice Ravel. The original piano version was written in 1895 and orchestrated by the composer in 1929. Ravel wrote the piece to pay tribute to Emmanuel Chabrier, who had helped to establish his musical reputation. The work premiered in 1898 in its piano version and only in 1930 as an orchestral piece.

Vlog #40 Park and Tsukemien, Pokemon go, GCd17 (with video)

Sorry I haven't been blogging the vlog regularly lately but you can still find the episodes you missed on my youtube channel. 

In this video I first explain why there is no Gainage Challenge part in the previous vlog, actually the park where I introduce the finished spaghetti went missing too. I don't know what I did or how it happened.

We went to the park to catch Abra as I needed pokemon candies to evolve my kadabra into an Alakazam. It was a lot easier to catch Abra than I thought and in less than 2 hours we managed to get all the necessary candies for the evolution. The thing is Abra is the only pokemon that you'll either catch or it will run away on the first ball. Most pokemon let you catch them several time in the pokeball before running away so in a sense, Abra is just more timely efficient and don't let you waste pokeballs. At the same time, that park was filled with Abras coming up about 4 or 5 at a time in the same area. We didn't even need to walk all that much to catch them.

Then, we decided to go to the restaurant for sushi but there weren't any spot available before 9pm so instead, we went to eat ramen. I wasn't motivated but Ikki managed to find a ramen store similar to my favorite one which had closed about 3 years ago. It was the exact same shop so we managed to get my usual ramen there and it was brilliant.
Some Dratini appeared nearby at the meguro river and we went to catch them staying there until Ikki got enough candies because I needed a lot more and Ikki decided that I couldn't give up yet so we caught enough dratini for me to evolve into a dragonite.

After we came home, I did the gainage challenge work for the day.

WeWriWar 175: Rainbow Catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday. 

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last week, with the start of chapter 3

Since their parents died, they had always been here for each other. She was the only thing he had in this world and he was the only one for her too. As long as he could remember they had only been separated once, when their parents died, two years earlier.

The social services had taken Clarissa away and put her in a family while he stayed at the center, he was too old to be placed. They had said that it was better for them, that way they could both take care of their own life without having to worry about the other. It might have been a good idea but it didn’t work that way. They were not the one getting up every night when Clarissa had nightmare and cried in the middle of the night dreaming about the accident, he was. After a week, her new family brought her back saying that she needed psychological help because she had been crying and refusing to eat. They refused to let him see her and Clarissa went to the hospital, her health was getting worse and worse. Finally, the psychologist decided that maybe there was something physiological going wrong with her and that the pain in her chest was not only due to her feelings, that’s when they brought her to doctor Marshall and when she was diagnosed with a right ventricular hypertrophy.
