Dolly Vlog Hop prompt #7: Bullies, Anxiety, Depression and Shame (with video)

This is Video number 7 of the Dolly Vlog Hop. The prompt for this week is a combination of a question from Angela Singletary (Omocha Crush) and Mahou Chronical:

What advice would you give to a person when someone calls them "weird" or "too old to play with dolls?" What should dollies owner that have anxiety/ depression do? when you maybe don't want to play with your dolls anymore or feel in shame to have them...

In this video, I explain that people who are not nice to you are better out of your life and that I wouldn't compromise with someone trying to judge a part of my life.
I give an explanation about shame and why you should get rid of it and I also explain what to do about your dolls when you have anxiety or depression. Please if you have anxiety and depression seek medical advises!

Sample doll Opening and Review: The girl with the Pearl Earring (with video and Stop Motions)

Girl with a Pearl Earring is an oil painting by 17th-century Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer. Vermeer painted a servant girl called Griet according to a novelized version of the painting's story. The painting which was painted around 1665, has been in the collection of the Mauritshuis in The Hague since 1902.

Groove made a lot of dolls from different painting, such as the Mona Lisa, Liberty guiding the people, the kiss and the girl with the pearl earring. Only the girl with the pearl earring came out and supposedly Byul Fata which might be one of the ballerina from Edgar Degas's painting: The Star - Dancer on Pointe and Two Dancers On The Stage.

In this video on top of a review of this pullip, I discuss her importance in the propagation of culture, art and history.

I also made some stop motion video with Isul Mao, Isul Neko Neko Mao Mao and the pullip twins Cassie and Callie.

Her quote is: A subtle smile upon those lips, what are you thinking... Feel Like So.

WeWriWar 170: Rainbow Catcher

Welcome to a new excerpt of Rainbow Catcher for the Weekend Writing Warrior and Snippet Sunday

Now let's go back to our story.

Summary of previous episodes: Clarissa is coughing and wanted to watch Everett Cooper on TV but Jason refused, she is due to get her rainbow the next day but she seems scared, to make her feel better Jason leave the TV on. Clarissa tried to explain about rainbows, she is a big fan of Everett Cooper but Jason is not too sure about it. Clarissa complained about her dialophone but Jason needs to go to work. Before completely leaving he is thinking about getting her her rainbow. We flashed back to the meeting Jason had with a rainbow seller at the black market. Jason left Clarissa's room to go to work. Jason was talking to his boss about the rainbow coming the next day. Jason prepared the money for the rainbow in a sport bag and went to the hospital. The rainbow seller arrived for the delivery. But it was a scam and Jason prepares to go get the rainbow himself in the desert. Markus has a last surprise for him.

We start just where we left off last week.

Jason took the moon catcher in his hand carefully, the spikes were leaking with red oil and he wondered where it was coming from. He counted the twenty of them before looking at the second piece in Markus’ hands.
It was a small white transparent crystal.
“This is the moon catcher’s support in energy. You can’t take the moon catcher out without taking it out. The moon catcher takes its full power from it. Basically any crystal of good size would do but the purest quartz, the better. Now watch!”

Sample Doll Opening and Review: Isul Tete (with video)

Isul Tete is my second doll in the multivic series. The first one was Dal DeLorean whose bag I opened in the previous video. There are four dolls in the Multivic series Pulli Yona, Dal DeLorean, Isul Tete and Byul Stefie.

I think Isul Tete is a really fierce little guy. He has a more manly face up than most Isuls and I like his full and frowning brows.
He is wearing a sort of Croatian traditional outfit or something from the Alps, I'm not too sure.

There was a lot of surprise for me on his outfit. First he was the one Isul I didn't recognize straight away at what he was wearing. Then he is wearing a rather long and flowery top and what I thought were his short trousers end up being a strangely shaped skirt.
He is also wearing Moccasin instead of Clogs. He comes with a hood, a flowery scarf in the same color as his socks and a red jacket.

His quote is: Love You... Love You Not... Love You... Love You Not... I will dedicate this last petal to you.
