The next day, we got up early again to go to Puno.
This is a city on the shore of the Titicaca lake. I got sick in the morning due to the anti malaria medicines. Those things were really killing me. But we still decided to go on the lake to see the island Uros, the floating island.
We took a boat and got there on one of them where they were showing us and explaining how the island are constructed and how they live there.
That was really interesting and different.
When we got back to Puno, it started to hail, very big pieces of ice. We got back to the bus station and took the next bus for Cusco, the old Inka main city.

Peru : Colca Canyon

We left for the Colca Canyon, the tallest and largest Canyon in the world, in the middle of the night. A taxi came to pick us up at our host place and took us to the bus station. The bus was taking us high in the mountain and they served us some Mate de Coca, which is good against altitude sickness.
We arrived in the Canyon in the morning and stopped at the Cruz del Condor where we managed to see some of them fly in the sky. To see them you need to arrive early because they only fly at particular hours of the day.
We then decided to walk further to village of Cabanaconde, but the high, heat and lack of water started to be hard to bear and we finally took a bus that was passing on the road. Shaking in the bus got me sick again, that and the anti malaria medicine.
When we arrived on the place of the village, a old woman seeing that I wasn't feeling well at all came to make me a head massage that made me feel a lot better.
We took a look around on the hiking pathway and took the bus back to Arequipa. We should have been staying a bit longer in the Canyon as there was a lot more to see.

이 죽일놈의 사랑  (A love to kill ) is a Korean drama in 16 episodes from 2005.

Kang Bok Gu finds his brother Kang Min-gu back after ten years of separation. He had been looking for him everywhere.
On the day of celebration, seeing on TV that his former girlfriend, Cha Eun Suk, an actress, he is still in love with is getting engaged, Min-gu falls from the roof and become a vegetable. Kang Bok Gu is going to go look for her and will become her bodyguard in order to take revenge but that is not that simple and they will fall in love.

I really love this drama, especially the music and 비. That's a really sad story. I made the plush that  Cha Eun Suk  has in the drama and it become the mascot of this blog.

Peru : Arequipa

We arrived in Arequipa and had to find our way to our host once again. We looked at the map in the train station and decided to walk there. Taxis were honking the horn at us to makes us climb in. They had been doing that since our arrival in Peru but that never worked.
We were on our way when a car stopped telling us that it was dangerous and proposed us to take us to the place we were going. So we climbed in and after wandering around the area a little we arrive at our host's house where we were greeted by his mum.
In the afternoon we visited the city of Arequipa and looked for information about how to go to the Colca Canyon the next day. Travel table of content
